Mango53 Inn is a brand new hostel grand opening in 2012 at down town Taipei. It's only 1-minute walk or 75 meters from MRT Longshan Temple Station, 1 station away from Ximending and 2 stations away from Taipei Main Station. It's also perfectly 5-minute walk or one block away from Wanhua Train Station, the shortest route and soonest/cheapest way to Jiu-fen the famous must-go hillside village.

The ideal location of our hostel in Wanhua district, or Monga the cradle of Taipei city, offers our guests the opportunity to experience the authentic Taipei and gives a zest to the adventure. Within 10 minutes' walk lies the 270-years-old Longshan Temple and other two exquisite small temples, the shooting backdrop of 'Monga' the film. Adjacent to Longshan Temple are Huaxi Street night market, once the famous snake street, and Herbal Street. If you are a gourmet, then you can not miss the local delicacy such as Taiwanese noodles, rice congee with meat, and crispy black-pepper stove-baked Taiwanese hamburger!

What's more, the hostel is surrounded by 24-hrs operating convenience store, bakery, food stand, and even 24-hrs operating Carrefour.

Never miss out Taipei city night life. The huzzle-buzzle recreation center Xiemending is just one MRT station or 15 minutes' walk away. We tentatively preserve the red-brick town house and its nostalgic interior design to invite our guests to experience the authentic Taipei. [IMPORTANT NOTICE]

1. No elevator in the hostel. Guest rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors and communal area on the 4th/top floor. It's entirely within guests' discretion on their own mobility before making decision.

2. Reception desk opens from 9am to 10pm. No on-site staff beyond opening hours.

3. Check-in is after 3pm. Early check-in is subject to availability but guests are allowed to leave luggage. Late check-in after 10pm is not acceptable unless getting written approval in advance. Note that there will be surcharge of $300TWD in this case. Please pay directly to our staff or entrusted guest whoever answers the door.

4. Check-out is before 12pm. Late check-outs are not acceptable. However, guests are welcomed to stay in the hostel and use the facilities in the communal area.

5. We are 100% no-smoking in door, no-eating and no-drinking in room. The only smoke area in the hostel is on the top floor in the open-air terrance.

6. Shower gel and shampoo for free. Towels for hire. In-door slippers are required. We provide public slippers but guests are encouraged to bring their personal slippers during the stay.
