This seemed cheap after travelling from Florence and Venice! Great room, that had just been refurbished, although quite small. Watch out for the disco light in the shower!!

Large choice of restaurants near the hotel serve special gourmet Bolognese dishes: 'tortellini', 'tagliatelle with meat ragù sauce', 'lasagne', 'mixed boiled beef', 'preserved meat (mortadella,salame,smocked ham), large choise of cheeses, mixed fried fruits, vegetables and cream', delicious dessert like 'mascarpone' and 'panna cotta'.

Directions
Hotel Guercino is located close to the train station . Really near the centre town in 10 minute of nice shopping/walking. Also close to the highway (exit n.6) and trade-fair.
The international airport " Guglielmo Marconi"
The Bologna Central Train Station is only 10 minutes from Bolognafiere and the entrances on Piazza Costituzione and Viale Aldo Moro can be reached with the 10, 35 and, 38 bus lines.
Please remember to purchase your ticket before boarding; they cost 1 Euro.
To reach the Hotel by car:
1) From any Bologna highway exit get the Tangenziale and catch exit N° 6 (Corticella)
2) drive along Via di Corticella on the way to Downtown (CENTRO) up to Piazza dell'Unità (2 km)
3) Turn right into Via Bolognese till the end of the street
4) Turn left into Via Fioravanti
5) Turn left at the third street left in Via Zampieri
6) Turn left into Via Di Vincenzo
7) Turn right into Via Albani
8) Turn right in Via L. Serra where you will find the Hotel
To reach the Hotel from the Train Station walking:
1a) On Piazza Medaglie d'Oro leave the Station walking left along Viale Piteramellara.
2a) turn left and catch the bridge crossing over the railway
1b) From the subway of the Station follow the signs to "Uscita ponte Matteotti" (platform 10)
2b)at the end of the steps go left down the bridge along Via Matteotti
3) at the end of the bridge turn at the second cross light left into via Tiarini, then the first street right is Via L.Serra where you will find the Hotel.
