At 100 metres above sea level like a balcony over the Gulf of Squillace on the Ionian Sea between Capo Rizzuto and Punto Stilo, you'll find this 19th century, restored house with attractive, comfortable rooms and elegant suites, with a small arena for games and shows, swimming pool, spacious green lawns and pine wood, fishing lake, and 8 km of paths for walking and mountain bikes, all surrounded by 44 hectares of uncontaminated nature, olive trees, citrus orchards, oak woods and Aleppo pines.

Only 3 km away is the ancient Greek Skilletion, later the Roman Minerva Scolacium where the extraordinary past comes to light with new archaeological discoveries. The coast offers long, sandy beaches (Copanello and Caminia) framed by rocks and crystal-clear water.

Among the amenities on offer: a children's play area, five-man football pitch, swimming pools (standard and child's pool), fishing lake on-site, archery (bring your own equipment), and mountain bikes.

There are numerous opportunities in the area for excursions and guided visits: for example, the nearby archaeological sites, hinterland villages, or the towns of Stilo, Gerace (for its cathedral), Locri Epizefyri (for excavations) and Reggio Calabria. If you prefer to relax, you can listen to the breeze in the trees, the songs of birds, or watch birds as they fly over the sea or the sky as it changes with the first rays of the sun: all evidence of the presence of God.

What is our existence without this beauty? .

To be our guest means to behold the fruits, warmth, water and pure air of this place, and to enjoy a comfortable stay combined with plenty of activities and experiences, at any time of the year but especially from March to October.

A total of 6 rooms (with two double or single beds) are available, all with private bathroom, period furnishings, linens, hair dryer, tv outlet, mini-fridge, telephone, intercom, ceiling fan, centralized heating with radiators. Daily housekeeping is up to the guests.

On the ground floor there are common areas: computer station, equipped meeting/conference space (for up to 50 people), projection set –up, satellite tv on large-screen television, five areas for reading, conversation or listening to music with comfortable armchairs and sofas. All the structures have access and services for disabled guests. All indoor spaces are designated as 'Non Smoking' environments. Smoking is discouraged, but if you must please smoke only in outdoor areas.

It is not possible to buy these things, but anyone can have the pleasure and privilege to experience them, in a world where tranquillity is hard to find.
