The location is really convenient, a couple of minutes stroll from the main square and about 10 minutes walk from the train station and ten minutes by taxi to the airport.
Rooms are very clean and the air conditioning gets positively frosty if you crank it up.
Rooms are quiet, evem at the noisy weekend.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and they are there 24 hours a day.

'I vespri' is our new, small but particularly comfortable hotel, in an old palace building, in the beautiful town centre of Catania. Its position is very favourable as it is near the main establishments of cultural events and night-life entertainment in Catania.
We are just 10 minutes from the wonderful Catania beach and just one hour to the adventurous Vulcano Etna! The hotel has been recently restored and offers you spacious, clean and bright accommodation.
Please note:
Our rooms with bathroom ensuite have also air condition and Tv. The rooms with shared bathroom have not the air cond., but a fun ( ventilator ), and have not the tv.
The jovial and cordial staff, besides giving you a fiendly welcome, can give you information about excursions and travelling in the area.
About RESTAURANT :;
the restaurant is very near to the hotel,5 minutes walking,it is a tipical little restaurant with all tipical sicilian food,you can eat fresh fish or meat and we speak english.the price for the rataurant are :
- 12,00 complete manu with meat;
- 15,00 complete menu with fish;
for use this special price you must ask the ticket restaurant when you will arrive in hotel.
Our other services are include free CALL taxi (please contact us in advance for this), free luggage deposit, free town-centre map, internet point as well as laundry service.

How can you reach us
From the Airport by 'Alibus'
Easy! Just go outside the Arrival Terminal and wait for the 'Alibus'. Before entering the bus, buy your ticket at the box near the bus-stop: it's only 0.80 !! In 15 minutes you will arrive to the centre of Catania. Then, stop at Piazza Stesicoro, go towards Piazza Duomo through Via Etnea and just turn left in Via Montesano: there we are! From 5:00 am till 24:00 buses will be available for you every 20 minutes.
From the Central Station by bus:
Our hotel is only 1,3 km. far from the Central Station, so reaching us will be very easy! As you go out from the Station you will find several buses waiting for you: 1/4, 4/7, 535, 334 or 2/5. Stop at Piazza Stesicoro, go towards Piazza Duomo through Via Etnea and just turn left in Via Montesano.
Tickets can be bought at the station, for only . 0.80. Buses are available from 5.00 until 24:00
