Budget Accommodation Europe Italy Cinque Terre Hostels Cinque Terre Holidays
Overall, this place is just...okay. I understand that places in Cinque Terre generally cost more...but I still feel like the price is a bit much for what you get. Also, I feel like the description given by the company is quite misleading.

Depending on the room you get, it might be wonderful or it will be the worst hostel experience you've ever had. Not worth risking getting one of the bad ones, I would look elsewhere

Overall, this place is just...okay. I understand that places in Cinque Terre generally cost more...but I still feel like the price is a bit much for what you get. Also, I feel like the description given by the company is quite misleading. It seemed to me to suggest that you will get a kitchen and a refrigerator in any of their places. We discovered that this was not the case. Instead, our private room was a shoe-box sized place with a couple of little beds crammed in...with no kitchen or fridge, there was absolutely no view, and the shower door fell off as soon as we touched it. These aspects were a bit disappointing. However, to be fair, it was quite clean and served the job of allowing us to store our bags somewhere and sleep at night. In summary, if you simply need a place to sleep...it's fine. If you are expecting some amenities, check with the management to be sure you are getting what you think you are getting.

The location is very well, just in the centre of Riomaggiore. It's nice that there's a kitchen.
But... we found out that there where bed bugs

Great location. We had a lovely room overlooking the main street with it's own kitchen, air con and ensuite bathroom. Helpful staff.

Host is rather helpful and friendly. Basic facilities are there, hot shower is provided. Certainly, value for money.
We stayed at Cinque Terre Holidays over a long weekend, so naturally paid more - but substantially more! Our room was the size of a shoe box, and our private ensuite consisted of a cupboard like toilet and shower. The shower didnt work because the room was too high up so water pressure was non-existant and the toilet got blocked on a number of occasions. The fridge also made a large humming noise in the night.
Saying that the owner acknowledged the problem, but there wasnt much that could be done because everything was booked over the weekend. We received a small discount off our room. My advice would be to book ahead and shop around!

You get what you pay for - this was one of the cheapest options for staying in the Cinque Terre, given that we were only two people and so not enough to rent an apartment. You share a small apartment with random others, as you would in a hostel. It was right on the tiny main street of Riomaggiore, very convenient for everything. A bit noisy in the mornings when the delivery trucks came but I've stayed in much worse. Toilet seat was broken, shower was a bit erratic and only had cold water until we asked for some hot, but they cleaned the apartment every day and were very (too?) keen on removing anything left lying around (e.g. our towel, which we never managed to recover). But they were friendly enough, spoke enough English for us to be understood easily, and it was exactly what we needed. Cooking facilities were basic (hobs, pots, plates, cups and cutlery) but fine.
