Dahab Marine Garden Camp
Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.
Marine Garden is a Bedouin Camp, a unique type of accomodation found only in the Sinai region of Egypt. It is ideal for the independent minded backpacker.
The camp is on the seafront in the Lighthouse area of Dahab, a quiet, laid-back town on the Red Sea coast. It has a predominantly Bedouin native population and a truly international group of long term foreign residents.
There is an active nightlife with many nightclubs and bars open till late.
Dahab has a desert climate with high temperatures, minimal rainfall and plenty of sunshine all year round
Marine Garden currently has 15 rooms, 4 with bathrooms. There are plans to extend the camp in 2012.
There is an exterior shower building with 3 toilets and 3 showers, all with 24 hour hot running water. The camp can arrange laundry facilities for the guests.
The prices below are for high season, from October to January.
Prices at other times are subject to negotiation.
Reducions are available for long stay guests
ROOMS WITH BATHROOM - 10 Euros
Rooms with bathrooms also have overhead fans.
They can tak a maximum of 2 people.
Prices are for the room and NOT per person
ROOMS WITHOUT BATHROOM - 8 Euros
Rooms witout a bathroom have desk fans.
They are for a maximum of 3 people.
Price above is for 2 people.
For 3 people the price per room is 10 Euros.
There are buses to Dahab from many Egyptian towns, including Cairo, and from Nuweiba, where the Jordan ferry lands, and from Sharm El Sheihk, 85km away to the south, where there is an international airport and flights to Europe .

Coming to Marine Garden
When you come to Dahab in a private car then ask the driver to bring you straight here to the camp. Remember that we can arrange a private car to bring you to Dahab if you contact us. Or if you come to Dahab on the public bus you will have to get a taxi from the Dahab bus station to "Lighthouse". We are very near the Lighthouse, on the sea front, so ask the taxi to bring you straight to us.
If you get dropped off at the Lighthouse then don't worry, we are very close. Just follow the map below or ask anyone for "Marine Garden".
