Jam Hostel just opened In January 2012 is conveniently located in center of Kyotos famous Gion geisha district.
Walking distance to many major tourist (UNESCO World Heritage) sites, shops, restaurants and bars.
Good services & competitive rates.
We also have a Japanese sake bar on the ground floor.
This is a chance to experience some of Japanese best SAKE(Nihon-shu) that are not available overseas.
Reception closed due to cleaning 12pm-3pm Late checking fee 2,000yen is charged from 10pm-12am
All rooms and bed require climbing stairs, so mobility-impaired and over 65years old guests will likely find it difficult or impossible to stay with us.
If canceled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If canceled too late or in case of no-show, 100 percent on the total price of the reservation will be charged.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?
There is not really much to say about Jam Hostel. It is close to Gion which is a great area. It is a two second walk from the subway. It was clean and well organized. My only thing was the lack of space. The room was tiny for 4 people and we all got in each others way. Also if you are after a Japanese experience, this is not really traditional. But you totally get what you pay for here. So if you are just after a clean place to sleep then this would suit you.
