This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Facilities are quite poor: lockers were too small, very few wall sockets and poor offer at the cafeteria. From our point of view, it's a great place for backpackers looking for fun but not such a nice place overall. However, it must be said that the staff was very cool and the location was great!!

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in so can't say much besides positive things about it! It's right next to Central Station which can be a great location if you are moving around the city a lot (buses around the corner to Coogee/Bondi Junction, not far to Glebe or Chinatown or even the CBD and the Harbour). If you are after the beach, then pick a hostel in Manly/Bondi or Coogee though.

Back to the hostel. It is slightly pricey, but very modern and secure and compared with other properties around there (YHA Central is around the corner) and the quality of the place not over-priced. Would recommend it to friends and family. If you plan on staying in Sydney for a long time it's a great place to start out but the price will become a burden quickly after you've gotten more familiar with the city and other options.
