About Channa's Angkor Homestay

Channa's Angkor Homestay is uniquely situated inside the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park in lush, pristine settings. We are less than 3km from Angkor Wat and about 4km from the center of Siem Reap town within a 9.600 m2 garden full of tall trees.We are a Cambodian-Danish family of five who invite you to meet us and stay in our traditional Khmer-style home of local hardwood with all modern facilities during your visit here. Our spacious 6x4 meter guest room is equipped with a fan and mosquito net, balconies and view to the garden. The private bathroom is conveniently located just outside. The room comes with western breakfast, access to internet and laundry service included. We can provide bicycles for easy access to and from our home free of charge. Pick up service on arrival and transfer to your point of departure is also included.Channa is happy to cook delicious Khmer-western style meals for you at a modest rate. Lunch and dinner are available by request at $6USD per meal/$2USD for children's menu (up to 12 years of age). Channa is also a trained masseuse in Japanese-style massage should you wish for this additional service. We can provide you with updated local information, local guides/transportation and excursions in our own 4WD car.Singles, couples and families are all very welcome.

As we are a family with small children, we usually go to bed quite early. But you can contact us any time by phone at 016757356 and we can arrange for most types of pick-up, transfer and other travel arrangements by car, motorbike or 'tuk-tuk'. We are open for long-term stays at specially negotiated rates.Our 'Homestay Deluxe' room rate is $20USD per night at single occupancy, $30USD for double. Up to two children's beds can be added for a $5USD surcharge per bed. When ordered in advance, Channa will be happy to serve you delicious Khmer or Western style lunch and dinner at $6USD per meal.We also have a cottage nearby, ideal for backpackers and other budget travelers looking for a unique and authentic experience while visiting Angkor or working here as short or long term volunteers. The cottage comes with a bed, mosquito net and light as well as access to bathroom and possibly kitchen. The rate is $5USD per person per night and the cottage can accommodate two persons. We are happy to serve you western style breakfast with home baked bread, cheese, marmalade, fresh fruit and tea or coffee for $4USD. Good quality bicycles are available for $2USD per day.
