BCN D-Guesthouse is a Self-Catering guesthouse, located next to Plaza Colon, the port and Las Ramblas in a 1850s neoclassical residential building. It is a charming and private place to stay, right in the heart of Barcelona.

The room apartments, with their handcrafted decorated wood and high ceilings, have been preserved and restored. Their history brings a classical atmosphere to the room. Some of the facilities have been refurbished for your comfort, like en-suite bathrooms in each room, to make your stay in Barcelona more pleasant.

Each room is around 23m², equipped with air conditioning, free hi speed internet access, a refrigerator, a microwave and some tableware. The building has a small supermarket on the ground floor.

If arriving at Barcelona's airport (el prat)

Barcelona's airport is out of the city, but you can reach down town in 25min-35min. You can travel by taxi (around €30) or by the aero-bus (€6).

The aero-bus is the blue one that departs every 10 mins from the bus terminals of the airport.

The easiest way to arrive is of course by taxi, but if you come by aero-bus you must get off at Plaza Espanya(first stop) then take the green metro line nr. 3 and get out at Drassanes metro stop. Drassanes is a 3min walk away from the hotel.

You can also take the bus all the way to Plaza Catalunya (last stop), then walk down Las Ramblas, 15min towards the sea.

On the last street before the sealine, turn to your left.

There you'll find "Josep Anselm Clave" street (on the corner of Las Ramblas and our street there´s a bar called La Cava Universal. Then Take our street (Josep Anselm Clave) and just look out for number 4 on your right side, one block away from Las Ramblas. The building has a little supermarket called Bonacompra (blue & yellow) and a drugstore (farmacia) downstairs.

If arriving to Girona’s Airport (Ryanair):

When you arrive at the airport, ask for Ryanair's bus to Barcelona. They have a bus departing after each arrival flight. You can buy the tickets (one way or both ways) in the airport and the bus will be waiting outside. The bus takes about 1h 15min to get to Barcelona and it stops at Estacio Nord (bus station). From there you can take a taxi or Metro

as follows:

Take line L1 from the underground at the Arc de Triomf station and after 2 stops get off at Catalunya. Change to line L3 and after2 stops you are at your final station: Drassanes ( La Rambla).

At Drassanes (L3 green) you'll be at the start of Las Ramblas, and just have to walk down towards the sea. At the last street before the sea front, you turn to

your left. In the corner, where you have to turn left, there's a bar called La Cava Universal. There you'll find our street (Street name: Josep Anselm Clave or Jose Anselmo Clave). Just look out for number 4 on your right side with Las Ramblas at

your back, one block away from Las Ramblas.
