The Surf Experience, Lagos, Portugal

Welcome to the Surf Experience surf camp in Portugal. Our camp offers the ultimate Surf Experience in the unspoilt Western Algarve, one of the best natural surf coastlines in Europe.

The Surf Experience's Vila Maravista is situated about a 10-15 minutes walk away from Porto de Mos beach and Lagos center. The villa has two double rooms and two three bed rooms, all with en suite bathroom and facing the outdoor area with the pool. Further, there is a huge living and chillout area with TV, DVD, Computer, Free WiFi and a balcony with sea view.

As catering is not included, you have a large kitchen to prepare your meals. The closest supermarket is approximately 100 m away. In case you do not want to cook, there is many restaurants nearby and many more restaurants to be found in Lagos! And don’t miss out on getting the BBQ place in the front yard working – usually it is turning into really nice chillout evenings with food, drinks and lots of fun!

Within the immediate neighbourhood are additional apartments (T1 and T2) to rent if needed. This might be the case for families, couples or groups.

Our self catering villa is ideal for couples and groups, in case not everyone wants to surf every day – accommodation and surf can be booked separately. Moreover, the short walking distance to the beaches and Lagos center make it possible for those who are not surfing to stay independent and mobile.

The Surf Experience's Vila Maravista contains of 2 double and 2 triple bedrooms, all en suite, and provides place for up to 10 people.

The private room types available are single, double and triple. The price for the triple bedroom is only available if there is a booking of 3 people at the same time. It is possible as well to book a shared room for only one person for the 25 € a night.

Bed Sheets, Linen and towels are provided.

By Car: If you are coming from the N 120 and end up at a roundabout - go direction Lagos. Turn right at the next roundabout into Rua Frederico Rato. Turn left at the 3rd roundabout into the Estrada do Monte Carapeto. Take the next street left and go straight until you see a big empty buillding on the left hand. Take that street and find Vila Maravista opposite of an old watertower.

From the Airport: We do offer Airport pickups with an agency - ask for prices! Alternatively you can take the train from Faro to Lagos and a taxi from the train station to the villa.

From Lisbon or Seville: There is cheap busses from Lisbon or Seville to Lagos. Once arriving in Lagos, take a taxi to the villa.
