Airport Vicinity Hostel, Colombo, Sri Lanka

Airport Vicinity Hostel is a newly established hostel situated just 5km away from the Colombo international airport. We offer dorm type hostel accommodation four-seasons of the year.

Because of our proximity to the airport, our hostel is ideally suited for travelers who would like to relax a day or two after a long flight, before venturing on their onward journey in Sri Lanka. You will also find our hostel a great place to wind down and prepare yourself for the onward journey from Colombo, after enjoying your travels.

Convenient location is not the main reason you should chose Airport Vicinity Hostel. If you stay at our hostel, you will experience real Sri Lankan hospitality and friendly service. You are sure to have a memorable experience regardless of the duration of your stay.

Our eco-friendly service policies are another reason you should stay at Airport Vicinity Hostel. We strive to have a minimum carbon footprint as possible from our operations and services we provide.

We offer dorm type accommodation. All the bed linen is supplied free of charge. Towels can be purchased at the hostel.

We can provide Sri Lankan meals at a very reasonable rate.

From Airport:

By Bus

If you are coming to the Hostel by bus, please exit the airport, and walk towards MINUWANGODA ROAD(pronounced MINOO-ONE-GO-DUR) to the nearest bus stop(same side as the airport on the Minuwangoda Road). Please get into a bus going towards MINUWANGODA. After traveling about 5km, please get off near HOTEL TAMARIND TREE (Left Side). Walk further about 200 meters and you will see HOTEL EURO STAR on the RIGHT side. Opposite Hotel Euro Star you will see a GATE with a ROOF. Please come inside through that gate and in about 100m you will find our Hostel on the RIGHT side.

By Car/Taxi*

If you are coming by car, once you exit the airport, turn LEFT towards MINUWANGODA (pronounced MINOO-ONE-GO-DUR). After driving about 5km on the MINUWANGODA ROAD, you will see HOTEL TAMARIND TREE on the LEFT side. Drive further about 200 meters and you will see HOTEL EURO STAR on the RIGHT side. Opposite Hotel Euro Star you will find a GATE with a ROOF. Please come inside through that gate and in about 100m you will find Airport Vicinity Hostel on the RIGHT side.

Generally Taxis would not know if given just our address. Be sure to mention land marks: Hotel Tamarind Tree(we are located 200 m after) and Hotel Euro Star(we are located opposite)
