Hotel Ca' Grande, Milan, Italy

Well, it's a bit hard to call this place a Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, but as far as services and such this place is pretty lacking. No cups in the room, no towels either. The TV was smaller than many computer monitors. The internet is password restricted and limted to 6 hours (but it had a good signal and was much faster than most hotels we've been in through Asia and Europe).

It is located nearly 1/2 mile from the closest Metro stop and there are few good restaurants or services nearby. Also, it's on a very noisy street. With the windows sealed it wasn't bad, actually, but if you want some fresh air (Air Conditioning is an extra 10 Euros a day!) cracking the windows makes it sound like you're sitting in the middle of the busy street.

It's a cut above many youth hostels, but not as good as some we've stayed in. For the price it's a bit hard to beat in Milan, but it's also hard to not be disappointed for what you're paying.

It's ok. No doubt about it. The only problem I can tell you is the location, because the nearest metro station is about 4 blocks away. But it is not a great problem if you like to walk and if you prefer to spend a little less money.
I recommend it!!

(ENG) The hotel is nice. Clean. It is located near the Centrale station,but not so close to the centre of the city. The tram number 33 leaves you at the door and you can catch this tram at Piazza Loreto (green underground line number 2). The price is correct. The shower on my floor only had lute warm water. The breakfat is an excellent buffet for 3'50 Euros extra p.p. The air conditioning is an extra of 7 Euros per day, too expensive considering that it gets very hot in Milan. It has internet service. It is close to the pizzeria "STOP" in Piazza Loreto, famous for its huge pizzas.

(ESP) El hotel es bonito. Limpio. Esta cerca de la estacion Centrale pero más alejado del centro de la ciudad. El tranvia 33 te deja en la puerta y este se coge en la Piazza Loreto (linea verde de metro numero 2). El precio es adecuado. El desayuno es un excellente buffet por 3'50 Euros p.p. El aire acondicionado se cobra a parte y son 7 Euros por dia, exagerado considerando el calor que hace en Milan. Tiene cyber. Esta cerca de la pizzeria "STOP" (Piazza Loreto), famoso por sus enormes pizzas. La duche que usé no tenia agua caliente, solo templada.
