We can book the Sound of Music tour or other tours for you. Tickets are available here and tour buses pick up every morning at the front door.
Sallerhof is a four star hotel garni at the foot of the Untersberg Mountain.
Just four miles south from the old town Salzburg, one mile from the motorway (highway) exit Salzburg Sued, seven miles from the airport Salzburg and 5 miles from Salzburg's railway station (Hauptbahnhof Salzburg - HBF Salzburg)
We own and run a four star hotel garni at the foot of the Untersberg Mountain.
Our regular clients are drawn back by the individual atmosphere and the personal attention we pay to our guests.
We even provide you with bicycles for exploring the beautiful surroundings and nearby attractions.
We have our own free parking spaces so that you can enjoy your peaceful and relaxing stay in Salzburg to the full..
You can bring each day of holiday to a close with a glass of wine on the patio in our peacefully situated garden.
We serve breakfast but for lunch and dinner there are many restaurants closed by (approx 3 minutes walking distance)
The bus number 25 goes from Groedig to the historic city of Salzburg (also to the Salzburg's railway station - Hauptbahnhof Salzburg) and back every 20 minutes (it is a 30 minutes ride - price is 2.- Euro). The last bus runs at 23:00 from Salzburg. The next bus stop is a 2 minutes walking distance. By taxi it is a 15 minutes ride and the cost is 15.- Euro for one taxi.

We have given our non-smoking rooms modern furnishings and all the features you need, bathroom with shower and hairdryer and a separate WC.
Bright, comfortable, and welcoming ambience, wooden floor, couches to relax on, cable television, safe, telephone, internet connection in the room and it is free of charge, balcony with chairs and a view of the Untersberg mountain.
You will be treated to a hearty breakfast buffet with local produce and homemade specialities.
A sunny garden terrace and a large sunbathing lawn are the perfect place to relax.

Here are the directions if you come by car:
Our Hotel can easily be found when you leave the A10 motorway at the Salzburg-Sued exit (exit 8) and head in the direction of Grödig. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights and follow the 'Hauptstrasse' (main street) for approximately 1 kilometre (0.6 miles). Opposite the 'Raiffeisen' bank is a small road to the Hotel Sallerhof.
Here are the directions if you come by train:
Our Hotel can easily be found if you take bus number 25 from Salzburg's railway station (Hauptbahnhof Salzburg - HBF Salzburg) to Grödig, and alight at the Dr-Richard-Hartmann-Strasse bus stop (near the Post Office and the pharmacy 'Apotheke' and the bank office 'Sparkasse', approx. 35 min. journey (the price is Euro 2.00 per person) Then follow the 'Marktstrasse' and the 'Hauptstrasse' (main street) for approximately 250 meters (0.2 miles 10 minutes on foot). Opposite the 'Raiffeisen' bank is a small road to the Hotel Sallerhof. The price for a taxi from the railway station to Sallerhof is approx. Euro 17.- Here is the information for the taxi driver: "Hotel Sallerhof, Hauptstrasse 9 in Grödig. Einfahrt gegenüber der Raiffeisenkasse Groedig"
Here are the directions if you come by air:
From the airport to our hotel it is a 20 minute ride by taxi or car. The cost for the taxi is between 20.- and 25.- Euro. Here is the information for the taxi driver: "Hotel Sallerhof, Hauptstrasse 9 in Grödig. Einfahrt gegenüber der Raiffeisenkasse Groedig"I can arrange a taxi for you to pick you up at the airport. I need to know at what time you will arrive in Salzburg and the name of the airline.
