Are you looking for a perfectly located, well-equipped, fair-priced, clean and welcoming place to stay where you can relax, party and meet fellow travellers?Welcome to YoHo international Youth Hostel Salzburg!Situated in the city centre right between the train station and the old town (both just a 10-minute walk away), this is the perfect spot to explore the world cultural heritage city of Salzburg.Across our three floors you'll find spacious dorms (eight-, six- and four-bed; male, female and mixed) as well as modern private rooms with comfortable beds, key-card-operated lockers and fully renovated showers. There are private lockers in all the dorms. Our friendly, multilingual staff will be happy to provide you with free city maps, directions and lots of good advice so you can make the most out of your stay. You can get a 24hr Salzburg Card. Book a tour at the front desk (Sound of Music, Ice Caves, Salt Mines and more) and get a 10% discount.Chill out in our cosy common room, equipped with comfortable couches and a flat-screen TV. You can watch the Sound of Music movie daily at 7pm in our TV room, plan your next trip and stay in touch with your family and friends in our internet café or party together with backpackers from all around the world in our hostel bar with great happy hour deals!Please note that meals are not included in the room rates. really nice hotel with great staffs. they are very helpful and trust their guest. the facility is also of good condition and make you feel good by the cleanlicess. overall, really nice hotel. also salzburg is a great city too.

The place is near bahnhof and also clean and neat. The receptionist is friendly and resourceful.
However, one problem was that the whole level shared one toilet and one shower (about 30 backpackers?), hence, the queue in the morning was tiring. However, when i went to stay at yoho, it wasnt very packed, hence it was bearable.

Although the reception was very friendly. There is much more to customer satisfaction than just being there.
There was always someone cleaning but unfortunately the bathrooms were really bad. Hair all over and the water in the showers didn´t drain properly. In the rooms it was dusty. But the beds was really nice, comfortable and the linens are of high quality.
As for the guest kitchen. Some cutlery and crockery would be nice. And by making sure that there are clean dishcloths people will clean up after themselves. You really feel that it is gross touching anything inside there.
The feeling within the general area was not inviting enough. I will probably not be coming back.

Great! I can say it was the best hostel I staid ever!

This hostel was great. Its in the New Town area but just a short walk to the Old City. Very clean and the staff is friendly. Dont worry about the bar if you arent a huge partier, we couldnt hear it from our room and they have tons of common spaces that arent in the bar.
