Located on a plot of 1,000m², our house has a spacious, charming open area with a beautiful view of the city’s landmarks (Guanabara Bay, Downtown Rio de Janeiro, the Arcs of Lapa and the city of Niteroí).

We also have a pool, a deck and a bar, all within a real rainforest with several species of Brazilian plants and – if you’re lucky – monkeys.

You can relax after the beach, have a drink before experiencing Rio’s nightlife or make the party right here! We also host events almost every weekend, further improving your contact with the Rio lifestyle and local Brazilians.

We offer 10 rooms in the best location in Santa Teresa. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, lockers and a balcony with a view. We have options with shared bathrooms or private bathrooms.

Please read our Things to Note below before making a booking. We strictly do not accept guests under the age of 18.

Great 82%

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

the good: friendly staff. big bright clean rooms. big tv. free internet on 3 computers with fast speed. pool. monkeys. great view. cool old building. big secure lockers. many different areas to relax and either be alone or socialize.

the bad: breakfast is too small(need a table full of food to help ourselves). i wish someone could help with bags for guests when arriving if possible, coz there are mannnnnny stairs to get from street to hostel. need free water source(filter machine?) coz payig for bottled water adds up over time.

overall, i loved the hostel. chilled out vibe, made real friends with staff and guests, and felt safe and happy always!
