Whatever it is that youre looking for you will find it in Vienna the city that needs no introduction. Its the unique atmosphere of the former empire, the hectic pace of modern metropolis, the variety of cultural events and the buzz of modern life that put this city at the top of or your places to see before I die list.

Alibi Hostel is there to make your visit to Vienna a very special one. Easily reachable from both railway stations and the airport it is perfectly located inside the city's Grtel within the 9th district - Alsergrund. The district is renowned for its colorful and bohemian night life. Are you up for the greatest parties? Then come to the best clubs in the city; Flex, Chelsea and many others located on the Grtel are close at hand! The neighborhood is also full of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, grocery stores and coffee shops where you can relax before taking off to explore the city. And when you finally decide to do so you should know that only 15 minutes on foot or 5 by tram separate you from the famous Ring!

The hostel should be a base where you can let your hair down, hang out with fellow travelers and recover after a long day and even a longer night out. Cosy twins and triples as well as small dorms make it a great choice both for the party animals and those who need their sleep. Guest kitchen, common room right by the lobby, Internet access that is free of charge, travel desk and the reception round-the-clockwe simply have it all! Just take a look at the facilities.

Our young yet experienced staff really know their city. Go ahead, ask them. Whether you look for the fancy wining & dining experience or the best club in town they know it. And they happen to really enjoy their work so theres always a receptionist to hang out with when you dont feel like going out.

You dont need an alibi for your stay in Vienna. But you might want the Alibi Hostel

Great 83%

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

We did a eurotrip with 5 friends all around europe.
Positive: big room with private bathroom (shower)!
Negative:
- common toilet was dirty and wet
- kitches is worse: ok you have kooking plates, but almost no casseroles.
- you have to wash every plate or glass before you use it
- no wifi

Overall this hostel was ok, just the kitchen is an important negative point.
Offcourse the private bathroom is a big plus

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

We stayed for 2 nights in Aug 2009. Its a clean well maintained place with basic facilities as a hostel. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

We stayed in a twin room ensuite which included bed linen. No towels or soaps. Hot water available at all times.

A 10 min walk to the u-bahn (to be noted especially if you are carrying luggage). Good number of cafes around. Not close to the city center and have to change u-bahn lines to reach the tourist area (Not too much of a pain if you have a metro card).

In all, satisfied with the stay for the money we paid.
