About Bag & Map Apartment Guesthouse
If you would like to spend your Viennese holiday staying in a quiet and affordable central location, then we can highly recommend the Bag & Map Apartment Guesthouse.
We offer spacious apartments, each with a bedroom, kitchen and brand new bathroom as well as a guest room with private bathroom and cooking area.
All the units are in a lovely old period home which has been newly renovated and some units have a landscaped inner courtyard.
The popular shopping street, Mariahilferstrasse, is a 10-minute walk away. The famous Museumsquartier is also close by. The West Railway Station (Westbahnhof) (where the shuttle busses depart for the airport) is only 3 minutes away by subway (U-Bahn). We are located near the Stadthalle, one of Vienna's largest events venues. Interesting and diverse events are held here, from concerts to sporting events, exhibitions and other happenings. Not far from the Stadthalle is a large shopping center. There, you'll be able to find everything from groceries to clothing to small gift items.

Directions
If you arrive to West railway station (Westbahnhof)
By metro:
Take the U6 line,
to 'Stadthalle/Burggasse' station (just one stop) in the direction of 'Floridsdorf'. Leave the U6 station for 'BURGGASSE'. As you come out from the station,turn right ,cross the Gürtel ,then you can reach our property in 3 minutes by foot.
You walk on the BURGGASSE street, then turn at the first corner to the left (WIMBERGER street), you walk to number 31 and ring for the 'Bag & Map'
If you arrive by Bus to 'Erdberg' bus station:
Take the U3 line in the direction of 'Ottakring' to the 'Westbahnhof' station. Then you change the line from U3 to U6, and follow the directions given to you at 'By metro'.
If you arrive by train on the south railway station (Suedbahnhof):
Take the No.18 tram to the Urban-Loritz-Platz. There you look for the BURGGASSE street, on the street turn at the first corner to the left (WIMBERGER street), you walk to number 31 and ring for the 'Bag & Map'. ;-)
CAT(cityairporttrain):
If you arrive in vienna(WIEN-MITTE) take the U3 Metro
to the West Railway Station(WESTBAHNHOF),and then you go like indicated at the top.
PLANE:
If you arrive by airplane in Vienna airport Schwechat you take the shuttle bus to the West railway station (WESTBAHNHOF), and then you follow the directions given above.
