Last update:october 2008. My terrace is a relax island in the noisy center of Rome, but still just 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum (1 km). The entire apartment has been fully renewed in february 06, there's a brand new shared bath (serving two double rooms) and a brand newdouble with ensuite bath too. In some special occasions (like the end of december) I will offer two rooms with private bathroom (one has ensuite bath and the other has private bath).
Also the breakfast has been improved: now it's corn flakes or choco rice with milk, orange juice, toasted bread with butter and marmelade, biscuits, tea cappuccino or coffee. All this served on my cozy terrace, which is much bigger than it looks, in fact 60 square meters. Note that with my new pergotenda I will be able to serve breakfast on the terrace even during rainy days.
Location: 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum, Forum, Domus Aurea.
The standard check-in time is 12.00. Anyway always send me a mail announcing your scheduled arrival time a couple of days before checking in. If you don't do it the risk is that you'll have to call me on my cell phone, because I'm not always at home.
No curfew. No smokers, no pets allowed, no use of kitchen. 3 nights minimum stay (end of december: 5 nights)
Please take note that there are two other B&B's in the same building, so make sure you're calling the B&B Tasso on the internal phone. The entrance on via Tasso 92 should be preferred to the main one on via Filiberto 217, you'll have much less stairs to climb before reaching the lift!

Note: 3 nights minimum stay, but during the end of december the minumum stay will be extended to 5 nights (from the 23 until the 31 december).
The standard check-in time is 12.00. If you would like to check in at a different time just write me.

Directions
My place is just 50 meters away from the subway stop Manzoni. Just get there and follow the indications to via Tasso. From FCO airport take a train to Termini Station.Then just walk out from the side exit on via Giolitti ( track 29) and take via Mamiani, cross piazza Vittorio keeping on your left, take via Filiberto until the corner with V. Manzoni. Via Tasso is the first one on the right. From CIA airport the simplest and fastest way is to get a Terravision bus. Check details on lowcostcoach.com The bus takes you to Termini main station, once there take the metro line A, direction Anagnina, it's only two stops until Manzoni..When exiting from the metro station turn around the block keeping on the left until you reach the corner of Manzoni with via Tasso. The number 92 is in the middle of the street, on the left. Just ring me on the internal phone and wait until I come down. If you want to take a taxi, a cab ride from the Termini Station is usually no more than 10 euros. Don't trust people approaching you and offering a taxi ride, regular cabs are waiting in a line outside the station.
