We were in the double room in the secrete garden place. This was really gorgeous. The staff is completely flexible and nice. Location and cleanliness is a further plus. Not far from the Colloseum and Circus Maximus and also close to Roma Termine station.

Both of our buildings offer restful conditions for independent travellers that appreciate tranquillity and cleanliness in reasonable price.
Founded only three years ago already hosted thousands of backpackers from every corner of the globe.
The maximum number of people in room is 6.
Either staying in mixed or female dorm, you will always find simple but fullly equipped bathroom in your room (shower, toilet, WC) and AC during summer !!!
Obviously there are also common room or a roof terrace, where you can relax studying new itineraries, chatting with your fellows travellers from all over the world, watching a movie or having a glass of wine (almost always in stock ;)

CIAK HOSTEL is open 24h, so don't you worry about CHECK-IN time. If you lost you flight/train/bus/shoe OR they are simply delayed by some hours, just let us know that you will be arriving a bit later than estimated.
Upon arrival you will get FREE fresh Linen, Map of Rome and all essential information.
Also PC stations with internet access are provided (first 15 min FREE) & free WIFI.

Reservation/Cancellation Policy:
!!! Prices do not include Accommodation CityTax, set by Rome City Council to 2€ per person for each night (up to 10 consecutive) !!!
Payment will be required upon arrival.
It is accepted in CASH (exclusively in € euro) or with CREDIT CARD (almost every circuit Visa / Meastro / MasterCard / JCB)
CANCELLATIONS
If requested by an @mail, fax or by phone with less than 48 h notice prior to the time of arrival, no fee will be charged.
Late cancellations or NO-SHOWS will authomatically imply the charge of your CREDIT CARD for the amount of the first night.

RSSI have also stayed in room 2 of the separate building (Secret Garden). Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy my stay for there was black mould in the bathroom (no window) that made it unbearable to take a shower or even to brush your teeth. The smell of it covered the entire apartment. For this room is situated in the basement of the building it was not possible to leave the terrace door open at nighttime. The climate of the room had been a humid one throughout my stay of 4 days. After my stay I told the receptionist about this unhealthy situation. Her reaction was a simple “We clean that room more often to avoid it.” Apparently, I have not been the first guest to complain about the mould. Unfortunately,
cleaning a room is not enough to get rid of mould so I was a bit angry about her playing down that problem. If they got rid of the mould the room would be very nice for there is a little backyard to it with a swing and chairs. Otherwise the service had been good and friendly. There is free internet access in the hostel and we got free pasta every night. We also got a very helpful map of the inner city and we could leave our luggage at the reception after checking out of the hostel for an entire day before we left town.
