About Daphne Trevi

Breakfast Included

Daphne is a new way to stay in Rome. We offer elegant rooms, wonderfully located in Rome’s historic center, for a fraction of the cost of a good hotel.

But our reduced prices do not mean reduced service. Quite the opposite. We offer objective advice and assistance to help you have a memorable stay in Rome. We give the kind of personal service you won’t find anywhere else.

Our rooms are all comfortably and thoughtfully appointed, with attention to detail, including firm Simmons® mattresses, fluffy comforters, and soft terry towels.

We have two locations at Piazza Barberini, about 3 minutes' walk from each other. Each is around one minutes walk from the Barberini metro stop, and 5-10 minutes' walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. (Daphne Veneto is also listed on Hostelworld.com.)

Both of our locations are on quiet side streets, with plenty of wonderful dining and shopping nearby.

Please be aware that the entire B&B is 100% non-smoking.

Directions

From Fiumicino airport: Take the train to Termini station. The trains run every half hour from Fiumicino, and cost 9,50 Euro. We can also arrange for taxi service from or to the airport. The rate is 55 Euros one way for up to 3 people.

From Ciampino airport: Take the Cotral bus service to Anagnina Metro station. The buses run about once every half hour. From there, take the Metro Line A all the way to the Barberini metro stop. We can also arrange for taxi service from or to the airport. The rate is 55 Euros one way for up to 3 people.

From Termini: Take the Metro line A towards Battistini. (Metro tickets cost 1 Euro, and can be purchased in Termini station at any of the tobacco shops or newspaper stands there. Try to get the tickets before you head down to the entry of the metro stop. There, you have to buy your tickets from a machine and it requires exact change, which can be frustrating.) Go two stops to Barberini. If you prefer to take a taxi from Termini, it will cost around 8-10 Euros. Take only a metered taxi.

Getting to Daphne from the Barberini metro stop:

If you have booked a room with shared bathroom, you are staying at Daphne Trevi: When you come out of the turnstile, go left to exit the metro station. As you exit, you will see a movie theater on your left, and the piazza on your right. Walk down one block and cross the street. You will see via degli Avignonesi directly in front of you (it’s a small cobblestone street.) Go about halfway down this street to number 20. Please note there is no streetfront reception, and there is no large hotel sign on the building. Please look for our name 'Daphne Inn' on the door buzzer.
