By plane:
Fiumicino-Leonardo
da Vinci
Visitors arriving at the airport's railway station (Stazione Ferroviaria) can reach the city's main railway terminus (Stazione Termini) after a brief half-hour trip aboard the 'Leonardo da Vinci Express'.
Once at Stazione Termini, you can take a taxi for the city centre (approx. 10 minutes), otherwise you can take the subway line and get off at the Spanish Steps station (Metropolitana, linea A, direction 'Cornella'). The Hotel dei Borgognoni is a 5-minute walk from the subway station.
Ciampino Airport
A number of bus lines run by Ryan Air or EasyJet provide services to Stazione Termini in Rome. Once at the station, you can take a taxi for the centre (approx. 10 minutes), otherwise you can take the subway line and get off at the Spanish Steps station (Metropolitana, linea A, direction 'Cornella'). The Hotel dei Borgognoni is a 5-minute walk from here.
By train:
Termini Railway Station
Once at Stazione Termini, you can take a taxi for the centre (approx. 10 minutes), or else the subway line for the Spanish Steps (Metropolitana, linea A, direction 'Cornella', for the Spanish Steps). The Hotel dei Borgognoni is a 5-minute walk from here.
Alternatively, you can take the 175 bus (get off in via del Tritone) or the 492 bus (get off in Piazza San Silvestro). Then you must walk up via del Boschetto, which becomes via Del Bufalo. The Hotel is a 2-minute walk from either of the above bus stops.
By car:
Rome North
If you are arriving in Rome from the North, take the 'via Salaria' exit; follow directions for the 'Centro'; once you have passed Porta Pinciana, take via Veneto and follow it as far as Piazza Barberini. Then take via del Tritone to the first traffic light and turn right into via Due Macelli. Near Piazza Mignanelli, turn right and proceed straight on for approximately 200 metres: you have arrived.
Rome South
If you are arriving in Rome from the South, take the 'Roma Sud' exit and then take via Tiburtina towards Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. Keep straight on until Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, then head for Santa Maria Maggiore and follow via Panisperna. Turn on to Via Milano and go straight on until you come to Traforo Umberto I, after which you must continue straight on down Via Due Macelli before turning left onto Via Propaganda at Piazza Mignanelli. Follow Via Propaganda for approx. 200 metres and you have arrived at the Hotel.
