Hello, we were very impressed with this site.
The pool area , supermarket etc were just great. We didnt try the restaurant.
The showers and toilets were really good.
The chalets were away from the main road so were a lot quieter than the tents.
Noise was our only problem.

We provide better value for money and facilities than any other hostel in Rome! At PLUS Camping Roma we have all types of accommodation to suit every budget, from shared house tents to private/shared cabins (twins and triples-quads and fives) with ensuites and some with fully equipped kitchenette.
What budget hostel has facilities such as regular theme parties, swimming pool, bbqs, jacuzzis, mini market, beach volleyball, big screen TV, superfriendly staff, the best restaurant and pizzeria, poolside bar and not forgetting the coolest funkiest latenight bar with DJ? -these Romans know how to party!
We have the usual things you find in a youth hostel including internet point to inform the envious mates and family back home, laundry (gotta wash those socks sometime man!) 24hr security and luggage storage.
We provide all-budget-accommodation options:
2 BED TENTS: spacious house tents with 3 beds, one is a bunk bed with a sliding door that you can lock with a key. bed linen included towels are NOT included (2€ each at the reception) Bathrooms are located outside the tent and recently totally renovated.
DELUXE TWIN PRIVATE are modern ensuite cabins where can comfortably sleep 2 people + own shower, toilet, storage, bedding&towels, heating, air-cond. and electrical outlets.
SUPERIOR 4 BED PRIVATE are spacious mobile home with 2 rooms ( one with twin beds + a third bunk bed and one with a double bed) fully equipped kitchen, two bathroom, a/c-heater, fridge, bed linen&towels, storage, electrical outlets.
SUPERIOR 5 BED PRIVATE are spacious mobile home with 2 rooms ( one with twin beds + a third bunk bed and one with a double bed) fully equipped kitchen, two bathroom, a/c-heater, fridge, bed linen&towels, storage, electrical outlets.
MIXED DORM ENSUITE are modern cabins where sleep max. 3 people + own shower, toilet, storage, bedding&toels, heating, air-cond.and electrical outlets.
3 BED SHARED MIXED TENT are spacious house tents with 3 beds, one is a bunk bed with a sliding door that you can lock with a key. bed linen included towels are NOT included (2€ each at the reception) Bathrooms are located outside the tent and recently totally renovated.
Please note: When booking a tent (private or shared) towels are not included. You can rent them for 2 € each at the reception.

From 01.01.2011 the new city tax will be applied to all customers sleeping in Rome. Each guest will have to pay at the campsite 1 € per day for a maximum of 5 nights. Children under 10 are free. The tax will be entirely paid to the city council and it\'s not included in our fares.

Conditions
When canceling or amending or changing a booking you must contact us at least 24hrs before your check-in day, otherwise we will charge the cost of one night's accommodation from your credit card as a cancellation charge.
If you book a NON ensuite accommodation, you are booking a bed in a house tent which is equipped with very comfortable beds. Blankets, Bed linen, pillows are included in the price.
Towels are not included in the prices and costs 2 € each.

Hello, we were very impressed with this site.
The pool area , supermarket etc were just great. We didnt try the restaurant.
The showers and toilets were really good.
The chalets were away from the main road so were a lot quieter than the tents.
Noise was our only problem. only 2€ return shuttle bus to the vatican 10 minutes away.
The security guards soon sorted out noisy revellers in the early hours.
We rented a car at the airport and it was very expensive (because the extra insurance was 27€/day), but driving in Rome was not difficult if you have the nerve for it!
Watch out for the wildlife on site...lots of different birds (wrens, blackbirds, sparrow, parrots) and spot the brightly coloured lizards around the site.

i have stayed in a lot of better places. the highlight of the camping was that it was very very clean. and for budget travellers it was great because it was right across the street from a big supermarket. but honestly i can't recommend it. there were a lot of negative aspects but the most telling is that during my 5 night stay twice at exactly 4:10 am i was at reception complaing about how i couldn't sleep. i don't blame my noisy neighbors, i blame the camping because they actively encourage a rowdy and obnoxious party atmosphere. i like partying and i love drinking but they had a disco where you could bring your own alcohol and drink there until 3 in the morning. and when the dico closed all the partiers who spent hours shouting to be heard over the pop music left the disco and went back to their tents to continue shouting and partying there. it was a mess. its a great place if you are 20 and looking to pick someone up. but if you are with your partner, if you are over 30, if you are with your kids, my advice is-- there are a lot of campings in and around rome, stay somewhere else.

I would not stay anywhere else, only 2 EURO for a return trip to town, cheap as chips meals and wine at the onsite supermarket and restuarant (we both ate and drank at dinner for 11 EURO) 1.30 EURO bottles of wine and beer at supermarket, Pool is awsome, Great place!

Everything was just perfect! The camping is easy to find. There is a big store just opposite of the the camping where you can find everything you need. The bungalow was clean, the staff was very helpful, smiling and kind. They speak perfect English and French. We stayed there 4 days and we were very happy with everything!!
