Rum Magic Camp is a traditional Bedouin style camp in Wadi Rum which provides a unique authentic experience to all our guests in the desert. The camp is ideally set in the desert area of Wadi Rum which provides some of the most spectacular and amazing scenery around. The camp offers our guest a real authentic Bedouin experience which has captured the beauty and comfort of lodging in a Hand made Bedouin tents. Our restaurant services traditional Bedouin food, cooked authentically using the finest produce available. We cater for vegetarian serving generous buffet and BBQ foods. Our coffee shop is a place to relax, serving the traditional flavoured tobacco narghile (water pipe). Guests can enjoy our nightly entertaining of music, dancing, star gazing, henna tattoo and traditional bread making ‘shraak’ which is still popular amongst the Bedouin today.
Rum Magic Camp can accommodate all to the single occupancy, to the large groups, offering both parties an unforgettable experience and adventure in the desert. Our 40 Bedouin tents can accommodate 2/3 /4 guests in comfortable single beds with sheets, pillows, and blankets, lanterns and towels can be provided. All our Bedouin tents are furnished in colourful Bedouin rustic touches. Bathrooms for ladies and gents are set up in two separate units, both having basins, toilets and showers with hot and cold water.
How to get to Wadi Rum
From Petra - Private Bus/Car
Transport can be arranged as part of the tour package by us.
There is currently one bus per day from Wadi Musa (Petra) that leaves at 6:30AM and costs JD. The trip generally takes 1.5 hours and tickets should be booked through your hotel at Petra, it will collect you from your hotel directly in the morning. The bus stops at the Visitor's Centre and Rum Village and returns to Wadi Musa for visitors travelling back to Petra, please check with the visitors centre for the time.
Taxi - Taxis return trip costs between
Wadi Rum turn off is on the main highway (Road 53) which runs directly to Aqaba. Once you react the Rashidiya Village also called the intersection of Wadi Rum turn off. The Wadi Rum Visitor's Centre is about 20-3 km down the road from this turn off and the Wadi Rum Village is just beyond that.

If you are planning to go to Wadi Rum from the bus station in Aqaba, you are advised to check the time the day before as this bus service can be very unreliable.

Wadi Rum turn off is on the main highway which runs from Aqaba all the way to Amman, about 40 km out of Aqaba. The Wadi Rum Visitor's Centre is about 20-30 km down the road from this turn off, and the Wadi Rum Village is just beyond that.
Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 Days before arrival. After this date, charges will be applied by the property up to the full cost of the reservation. Deposits paid are non refundable.
