About Castello di Selvole

Hi there! Book an apartment at the Castle of Selvole! Save money and be assured of a cheap apartment in one of the most beautiful places in Tuscany!

Selvole property is 12 Kms from Siena centre.The apartments of Selvole are about 200 metres from the magnificent winery and cellar , where the reception, wine shop and wine cellar are situated. The 'tourist village' consists of 3 old big farmhouses that have been converted into 19 apartments for singles, couples or families with children .

The reception is by the bar, so you can request a cappuccino or a simple breakfast. You can enjoy an aperitivo at the bar, (where there is free WIFI) and order your meals in advance so the cook can prepare some typical Tuscan dishes for you. Bed linens and towels are provided and are changed regularly for stays longer than one week.

From May to October, guests can relax by the swimming pool which is located at the centre of the complex, or sit outside in the garden and enjoy the natural peace of the surrounding. Guided wine tours will be scheduled for free on demand. We can organise a wine tasting with dinner at our restaurant if you book in advance. If you have your own car you will have the advantage not only to go to Siena (20 minutes away) or to explore the various

Chianti Classico wine growing area . We can provide a limited transfer service with a small car (therefore a maximum of four persons with not too much luggage) . We cannot guarantee the service, however, unless you contact us AT LEAST two days before, and the transfer will mainly be between Selvole and the Siena railway station during office working hours. This service, however, cannot be guaranteed and will be offered only if we have a person available. The price will be 4 euro a person per trip.

Conditions

Minimum stay two nights. From mid-July to mid-august, a minimum of four nights. Reception is closed on Sundays and holidays but for those who want to arrive on those days, we can arrange to give you your keys if you let us know in advance to fix an appointment . On weekdays reception hours are 9.30-12.30, 14.00-18.00. Saturdays 15.00-18.00.
Anyone arriving after 18.00 or on a holiday is advised to call us in advance to arrange the pickup of keys. The reception is by the bar/restaurant close to your apartments,. Call us at 0577 1698071 if you have problems arriving on time.
