Stayed after first stopping in this hostel groups Pattaya hostel, was in two minds as I have been to most of the big cities in Thailand and had not given Isan much thought, I am glad that I took the owners advice and used Udon as a stepping stone to see the province and Laos (i'am travelling to Vietnam shortly) Great location and the staff were just fantastic. There is a lot to do and see and there is night life, not on the scale of Pattaya but good nether the less
