Room was perfect, breakfast quite odd and not very good, but ok. It´s safe, clean and staff is nice. They are not there most of the day, so you have to arrange your arrival time. If you use Siena as HQ to move around Tuscany by car, this place is perfect because you have one of the few spots with free parking outside the city walls very close to the hostel.

Le Camerine di Silvia is a breath of fresh air on the edge of Siena's old town. Silvia and her family make you feel at home but don't invade your privacy leaving you to enjoy the garden and its stunning views over Siena's city wall and the Tuscan countryside. Silvia gave us some great recommendations for cafes and restaurants so you don't have to take the risk of getting ripped off in a tourist trap restaurant. The only downside is getting to the property from the station which is directly on the other side of the city and involves a cab ride through the busy narrow streets which are in effect no more than pavements.
