This hotel was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly & very helpful; the room was very clean & comfortable; we had a great view over the Bay of Naples from our enclosed verandah; the hotel was in a very quiet bayside street, 5 minutes by train or a 30 minute walk to Sorrento.

Choosing Porto Salvo means staying in an authentic monastery on the Sorrentine coastline, where you can admire the splendid views over the gulf of Naples.Porto Salvo is positioned centrally (you can reach the centre of sorrento in only 5 minutes) although, it is also in a very paceful area, the b&b is surrounded by nature.Infact its garden with lemon, orange and olive groves and splendid views of the sea are only some of the beautiful features porto salvo and its surrounding towns have to offer.
The b&b is located near a conventioned beach, only 20 metres away, you can reach the beach walking. To get to the beach you only need to turn left, ahead of you, you will find a small slope leading to the beaches private lift.
There is a bus stop right outside of the b&b.
Only 300 metres from the hostel is the local train station where visitors can take the circumvesuviana to the famous archaeological cities of Pompei, Herculaneum and the city of Naples.
The monastery has a large dining room,a comfortable sitting room with a television and bar, there is also a large garden and free car park.
At Porto salvo you will find a pleasent and welcoming atmosphere.
We are open all the year round. But most importantly by choosing porto salvo you will have the chance to discover the wonderful sorrentine world.

A lovely place - big vaulted ceilings, clean and very, very quiet in the downstairs 4-person room that we'd booked. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. To use a well-worn cliche, it is a real oasis of calm. There is a small garden, a very comfortable lounge area, internet access and secure parking for those who need it. Quite a long walk up narrow streets to the bus/train station at St Agnello - well over ten minutes for us and we don't hang around. Never felt unsafe though, even late at night. A much quieter place than Sorrento but only a five minute train ride away and the last train back left about 11.30pm, so it was easy to pop into Sorrento for a meal and a walk around the market area on an evening.
