We had a wonderful time at Villa Fiorita and although we were surprised at how far out from Sorrento the hotel was it did not become a problem.
Our main comment was that althought there was not a restraunt on site there was provision made to have a choice of two very nearby with a pick up and return car both were reasonable priced. We enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere and nothing was a problem to put in place at our request.... more

Hotel 3 stars with splendid view on Sorrento's gulf. Hotel with Bar, Sun terrace and Swimming pool. The hotel is situated in the panoramic position on the way from Sorrento to Positano at 6km far from Sorrento's centre.
The structure overlooks one of the most beautiful views of Italy (the Sorrento cost and the gulf of Naples with the imposing Vesuvio and when the sky is clean, the island of Procida and Ischia island).
The most of the rooms are provided of a little balcony with a splendid view on the gulf of Sorrento, all the rooms are cool and bright: this is one of the few place where is possible to sleep also in the very hot summer.
All the rooms are provided of bath, direct telephone, balcony or window with seaview or gardenview, TV, they are good heated in winter and cool in summer TV area, a bar with a small veranda with view, a little garden and the Solarium with a splendid view on the gulf of Sorrento allow to our clients to spend nice time even in the hot summer afternoon.
In the Hotel the clients can use the food service in room.
Near the hotel there are some very good restaurants and they offer a free service of car connection.

Our main comment was that althought there was not a restraunt on site there was provision made to have a choice of two very nearby with a pick up and return car both were reasonable priced. We enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere and nothing was a problem to put in place at our request.Our stay was towards the end of October 2009 and of course was very much end of the season unfortunately the weather was not at its best to make use of the pool but it was well situated and looked very inviting. The view from our terrace was beautiful looking out towards Sorrento and the bay.
My husband and I would throughly recommend Villa Fiorita a highlight of our holiday from New Zealand

Directions
'Napoli Centrale' or 'Piazza Garibaldi'. Catch the train you find on the lower floor, check for the line 'Napoli-Sorrento'.
Once you get to Sorrento you can take the SITA bus in direction 'S.Agata sui 2 golfi - Via Nastro Verde' or 'Via Priora', this bus stop in front our hotel.
From Naples Airport
If you are landing in Naples at Capodichino airport, the easiest and most comfortable way to reach Sorrento is the 'CURRERI' bus line stopping just outside the arrival hall. This bus will take you in Tasso Square, from there you must go to Circumvesuviana train station and you can take the SITA bus in direction 'S.Agata sui 2 Golfi - Via N.Verde' or 'Via Priora' this bus stop in front our hotel
From the airport you can also get the ANM bus to Piazza Garibaldi rail station. From the rail station reach Sorrento by CIRCUMVESUVIANA and from there you can take the SITA bus
By Car
Any direction you are coming from follow the A3 Napoli- Salerno motorway. Look for the sign Salerno/Reggio Calabria- Penisola Sorrentina as far as Castellamare di Stabia exit. After that drive along the SS145 to Sorrento. Drive past the towns META, PIANO DI SORRENTO and S.AGNELLO as far as Sorrento.
Drive along ' Via degli Aranci ' at the end follows the signs to Sant'Agata sui 2 Golfi in that direction after 6km you can find us on the left.
