Hotel Alla Fava is located in the beating heart of Venice centre between Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square in a 16th Century mansion "Gussoni Palace", which overlooks a simple quiet square "Campo Della Fava" and the St. Zulian Canal in a picturesque atmosphere.
Although it's a central location it's a quiet spot.
According to the tradition in the opposite house once lived Casanova, the 18th Century famous Latin lover.
In Hotel Alla Fava you can find single, double and twin rooms, overlooking the Canal, the Square, the Street or a quiet courtyard. On request it's possible for families or short groups to add some bed in the largest rooms.

Directions
By plane:
From airport, located north of the lagoon, you reach St. Mark square or Rialto by crossing the lagoon on public "Alilaguna" boats. The trip lasts about 1 hour.
From San Marco (San Zaccaria Quay) you can reach our hotel in almost 5 minutes walking.
Take the street, which begins under the watch tower, called "Mercerie dell'orologio" go on toward rialto and almost at the end of this street (on the corner you see the Rolex shop), turn on right and at second street turn right again, cross a little bridge and you are in Campo Della Fava where hotel is located.
Just outside airport there is a bus line n. 5 which starts every 20 minutes and reaches Venice Piazzale Roma in about 20 minutes.
Ticket: 1, 50. in Piazzale Roma go towards gran canal where you find boat direct line n° 2 to Rialto, 14 minute trip, it starts every 10 minutes.

Get off at Rialto bridge stop, reach Campo (square) San Bartolomeo (beside Rialto bridge), here you can see on the right Walt Disney store which borders with the alley 'Calle dei Stagneri'. Go on straight and after less than 100 meters across a little bridge and you are in Campo Della Fava.
In front of the station 'Venezia S.Lucia' on the left you find boat line n° 2 to Rialto, 10 minutes trip, it starts every 10 minutes

If you want to walk from railway station to hotel it takes about 30minutes.
By car:
Go towards gran canal where you find boat line n.82 direct to rialto, 10 minutes trip. It starts every 10 minutes
