Hotel Messner is situated a few steps from the Basilica della Salute: this famous church was built after the plan by Baldassarre Longhena as a thanksgiving for the end of the terrible plague. In a short time, you can reach St.Mark Square by steamboat crossing the Canal Grande.
The Hotel is near the famous promenade of the Zattere, an important residential area that is well known for its refined elegance and quiet.

You can take the public boat line 1 to San Marco, and get off at the boat stop 14 called "SALUTE"; then you cross the third bridge and on the left about 100 meters ahead you will find the hotel.
To arrive in the Hotel from Marco Polo Airport, you have two possibilities:
From Marco Polo Airport you can take the bus line 5 to Piazzale Roma, and from there you take the Public boat line 1 to San Marco and get off at the boat stop 14 called "SALUTE"; then you cross the third bridge and on the left about 100 meters ahead you will find the Hotel.
From Marco Polo Airport you can take the boat "ALILAGUNA" and get off at San Marco; from there you can take the public boat line 1 and get off at the boat stop 14 called "SALUTE"; then you cross the third bridge and on the left about 100 meters ahead you will find the Hotel
