Locanda Matir is located in the picturesque square of Santa Margherita, just a walk from Piazzale Roma and from the Santa Lucia train station.

The structure was completely renovated in 2002 with rooms furnished in classic venetian style. Almost all the rooms overlook the square and the CÃ Foscari Canal with a view of the serenading gondolas as they pass by.

The Locanda Matir offers its welcome guests the privacy and courtesy that make for a perfect stay.

Locanda Matir is situated in Santa Margherita Square, just in front of the 'Auditorium' building and it is just 5 minutes walking from Piazzale Roma, Cà Rezzonico and San Tomà boat stops. From Tronchetto Parking:'vaporetto' N.82 to Piazzale Roma. From Piazzale Roma or Railway Station: just 5 minutes walking or by 'vaporetto'N.1 to Cà Rezzonico or San Tomà. From airport: Bus N.5 or BLU-BUS to Piazzale Roma. It is possible to reach the Hotel also by privat water-taxi, directely to Cà Foscari Canal.
