The best value budget accommodation in Venice.
Plus Camping Alba D'Oro is a unique hostel/camping village that has been created to cater for the needs of the backpacker/traveller.
You get more than your average youth hostel with onsite restaurant, pizzeria, takeaway, pool, jacuzzis, internet cafe, cash machine, supermarket, big screen TV, beach volley ball, laundry, local excursions, luggage storage, 24hr security, super friendly staff and the awesome late night Gondola bar with DJ and the infamous Plus Toga Parties.
Our regular private shuttle bus, (runs 15/05/-15/10/), will deliver you to the main Venice Island in 20mins or you can choose to take public transport from the camp entrance (30mins).
Pickup is at bus stand D1.
Plus Camping Alba D'Oro offers a unique hostel experience for your stay in Venice. We have all budgets covered with these accommodation options:
Mixed/shared dormitory (triples) with an ensuite.
These are modern, comfortable sized rooms that sleep 3 people and come with their own shower and toilet, storage space, bedding and electrical outlets.
Private twins with an ensuite.
Modern, comfortable rooms that sleep 2 people and come with their own shower, toilet, storage space, bedding and electrical outlets. Individuals can only book a private bed as a twin.
Private/shared 2 person house tents.
Comfortable and roomy the house tents are lockable and all linen is provided.
Check in is from 1pm onwards, checkout is 11am.
Cancellations must be done at least 24hrs before check in to avoid being charged for your first night's stay. If you are leaving late feel free to put your bags in the lockup to catch a few extra rays by the pool.
Please note that opening time of the swimming pool will be from the 15th of May to the 15th of September.
Plus Camping Alba D'Oro offers a pickup service from Treviso airport for EUR 12 per person, minimum 2 people. Please book 72hrs in advance of pickup time.

MONEY MATTERS
For your added security we use a chipcard payment system on the campsite. On arrival you are issued with a rechargeable electronic chipcard that you use to pay for food and drinks from the bars and restaurant, and items from the market and bazaar. The card is rechargeable at reception only by cash or credit card. Any value left on the card is refunded back to you on departure.

Best camping ground I have stayed at! The staff are very friendly and helpful (especially Pierre the Plus Port guy). The camping ground provide a shuttle to take you to venice every hour, and the pool is beautiful. The only issue I had was the toliets never had any toilet paper and half the time they wouldnt flush. BUT over all, definitley worth your money.
to check in or do anything at reception it took nearly an hour to actually talk to a staff member. the "house tent" was appaling. the staff were horrible, we saw them actually make people move tents once they were all set up, they even took campers things while they were out for the day. they forget to tell you that is located on venices main airport run way. Internet was expensive. there is another campsite run by same company in venice that is 100% cheaper, nicer, cleaner and better located than this dump.

How to reach us? It's very easy!!!
From the train station Santa Lucia in Venice:
cross the new bridge on the right of the train station and you will be in Piazzale Roma main bus station.

Or alternatively take public bus number 5 from red section A 1 to the airport ;
here change to bus number 15, direction Ca'Noghera; get off at the 4th stop right in front of the campsite;
Last bus n°5 is at 22.40 with connection at the airport with bus n°4/ direction Ca'Noghera at 23.02.
Take bus n°4/ from Venice directly to Ca'Noghera only at the followings times: 20:35 h, 21.35h, 22.35 h
From Mestre train station: cross the main road and take public bus number 15 direction Ca'Noghera and get off at the 4th stop after the airport right in front of the campsite (last bus 15 at 20.06) .
