Location was near to city centre which was easily accessable via the camps transport/shuttle bus which ran every half hour
Accommodation was okay and what you might expect, it was clean and comfortable.
Plenty of hot water.

Camping Village Jolly offers a great budget alternative to a hostel in Venice with clean comfortable dorm rooms and cabins all provided with their own private bathroom with shower, and house tents, all with linen included.
- Mixed/shared dormitory rooms with an ensuite.
These are comfortable sized rooms for 5 people with their own shower and toilet, fan and heating, bedding and electrical outlets.
- Private twin cabins with an ensuite.
Modern, comfortable cabins for 2 people, with own toilet and shower, refrigerator, air conditioning and heating, storage space, bedding and electrical outlets.
- Private triple cabins with an ensuite.
Modern, comfortable cabins for 3 people with own toilet and shower, refrigerator, air conditioning and heating, storage space, bedding and electrical outlets.
- Private quad cabin with an ensuite.
Modern, comfortable cabins for 4 people, with two double beds, own toilet with shower, fan and heating, storage space, bedding and electrical outlets.
- Private/shared 2-3 person house tents.
Comfortable and roomy the house tents have three real beds, a wooden floor and are lockable. All linen is provided.
Checkin is from 2pm, checkout is by 12.00pm .
You can cancel up to 24hrs in advance to avoid being charged for the first nights accommodation.
MONEY MATTERS
For your added security we use a chipcard payment system on the campsite. On arrival you are issued with a rechargeable electronic chipcard that you use to pay for food and drinks from the bars and restaurant, and items from the market and bazaar. The card is rechargeable at reception only by cash. Any value left on the card is refunded back to you on departure.
If you are leaving after check out time, store your backpack in our free luggage room and enjoy a local dish at the restaurant or take your time by the swimming pool.

It would have been good if there was maybe a communal bar b q however as there is a restaurant on site they do not provide this
1 local shop to access basics such as milk and bread, (not overly cheap to eat out!!)

Cheap place in an expensive city, room quite small but clean with AC, then you don't have to worry during summer and mosquito. Good value for small budget, restaurant food is basic but edible. Quite far from venice, but not to difficult to find (by shuttle bus is the easiest way, 2 Euro each), bus just 0.6 Euro.

DIRECTIONS
From Santa Lucia train station in Venice (Main train station)
From Santa Lucia train station in Venice go down the steps directly outside the train station and turn right; cross the glass bridge which goes over the Grand Canal.
There, at Piazzale Roma, the main bus station go to bus stand A3 and take bus #6 direction Marghera. Stay on bus for approximately 15 minutes and ask to the bus driver to get off at the bus stop in Via Paleocapa.
When you get off the bus, turn left into via Beccaria. Continue straight on for approximately 8 minuntes until you see a Pizzeria on the right side and then turn right into via della Fonte. Walk until the end of the street and follow just past the sport centre on the left hand side the walk way. Continue down the walk way as it bends to the right under an underpass. Two minutes later you will arrive at CAMP JOLLY!
Bus #6 departs Venice every 20mins at 10 - 30 - 50 minutes past the hour. The last bus departs from Venice at 00.40.
From Mestre train station
Take bus #15 direction Panorama. Stay on the bus for approx. 10 minutes and when you are in via Beccaria get off at the second stop of Via Beccaria. Walk for about 200 meters until you see a Pizzeria on your right hand side and there turn right into via della Fonte. Walk until the end of the street and follow just past the sport centre on the left hand side the walk way. Continue down the walk way as it bends to the right under an underpass. 50 seconds later you will arrive at CAMP JOLLY!
Bus #15 leaves the train station every 30 minutes every 13 43 minutes past the hour. The last bus leaving from the train station departs at 20.37. Please note that on Sundays the bus only runs at 34 minutes past the hour and the last bus is at 20:32.
From Marco Polo Venice Airport:
Take bus #15 direction Panorama and stay on the bus for approx. 45 minutes. Get off the bus at the second stop in via Beccaria. Walk for about 50 meters until you see the Pizzeria on your right hand side and urn there right into via della Fonte. Go to the end of the street and just past the sport centre on the left hand side is a walk way. Continue down the walk way as it bends to the right under an underpass. Two minutes later you will arrive at CAMP JOLLY!
The last bus from the airport departs at 20.37. Please note that on Sundays the bus runs every hour at 07 minutes past the hour and the last bus departs at 20.07.
After 9pm please take bus #5 direction Venice, Piazzale Roma (every 30 minutes at 10 40 minutes past the hour)and take then bus no # 6 from Piazzale Roma (see above). After midnight take a taxi from the airport directly to our campsite (25,00, 20 minutes) call

From Treviso San Giuseppe Airport:
From Treviso San Giuseppe airport we suggest you to take the shuttle bus from Ryan Air to Piazzale Roma main bus station in Venice.
These buses are normally running in connection with flights.

SHUTTLE BUS
From the main bus station in Piazzale Roma(near the public toilets), you can take our shuttle to the campsite in 15 minutes. Our shuttle eaves at the following times:

If just arrived in Venice, the first journey to the campsite is free of charge (ONLY IF FREE SEATS AVAILABLE!).

BY CAR:
- coming on the motorway from Milan or Bologna towards Venice, exit the motorway in the direction Venezia-Mestre, stay on the right hand side following signs to Ravenna. Then take the first road on the right. This turning has signs for the campsite for you to follow.
- coming from the S.S. Romea, when at the roundabout of the motorways (with signs for the Holiday Inn), follow signs for Ravenna. Then take the first road on the right. This turning has signs for the campsite for you to follow.
- coming from the motorway A4 Trieste-Venice, or A27 Belluno-Venice, take the "tangenziale" (bypass) until the last exit "Ultima uscita" direction Ravenna, arriving at the roundabout, follow signs for Ravenna. Then take the first road on the right. This turning has signs for the campsite for you to follow.
