La Vieille Lanterne is situated in the centre of Brussels, just in front of the famous fountain of the Manneken Pis. The family that run the hotel also own the gift shop on the ground floor.
This small and charming hotel has 6 rooms all with shower and TV. All rooms look out onto the street and the crowds that cluster around the famous Manneken Pis fountain opposite. Fresh and clean with solid-wood, cottage furniture and lead-light windows in tints of pink, green and yellow, the rooms are bright and have linoleum floors. Breakfast is served in the rooms.
La Vieille Lanterne is a perfect base from which to explore Brussels.

The location of the hotel is perfect - in walking distance from the magnificent square in the center of the city and the major sightseeing. The rooms are pretty well decorated, very clean, and spacious to European standards. The family that runs the hotel are very polite and helpful in all aspects. Unfortunately there is no lift in the hotel, however, the staff will help you with carrying the suitcases to your room. There are 3 floors with 2 rooms at each floor. The service was excellent, the check-in/out without problems. The price was right.
