Around two km from the Brussels Central station (Midi or the south station is supposed to be a lot closer), Sun is located in a fairly easily missable lane on Rue De Ixelles. At the time I visited construction work on the road meant I had to physically lift some rather heavy luggage all the way into the lane.
Once I got to my room however, it was great for the price. It was spotlessly clean and had several VERY conveniently located plugpoints. The importance of this in a day and age of laptops and smartphones with poor battery life cannot be overestimated. The light switch in my room (36) was located conveniently close to the bed allowing for easy reading. I used to think this was a standard feature but extensive experience with European budget accommodation has convinced me otherwise.
The staff ranged from brusque and matter of fact (the day clerk) to extremely helpful and friendly (the person manning the counter at night).
Now for the quibbles: the key card to my room didn't work the first couple of times (though this did get resolved) and the WiFi connection worked a LOT better on my laptop than on the phone: strange since both of them have been equally adept at other places.
To sum things up, this is a good place to stay, provided your expectations - like its asking rate - are modest. The lane its located in could be a little better but considering you are just a few minutes and sometimes extremely scenic walk away (through the streets containing the music museum and the gallery of modern art) from city centre, this really shouldn't be too much of a problem.
