In the heart of the city of Verona, a few metres and by the splendid Piazza delle Erbe, once the center of political and economic life of the city, stands the B&B Alle Erbe.

Its strategic location makes it particularly suitable for all types of stay. On the first floor of a historic building Corso Portoni Borsari, a 5-minute walk from the most important places in the city.

The B&B Alle Erbe is in fact just 10mt from Piazza Erbe, a 50m by Lamberti Tower, Piazza dei Signori and Piazza Dante, 200 from the house of Juliet and the Duomo and 500mt from the Verona, from the castle of Castelvecchio and the Roman Theatre.

The entrance of B&B Alle Erbe is in the Corte Sgarzarie, a covered square used by the guild of wool in the Middle Ages. An exclusive square which hosts several events on summer.

Although very centrally located (Piazza delle Erbe is right at the heart of the city), we were very unhappy with the cleanliness of this place as the dirt from the visitors before was still visible. During a three nights' stay there was no cleaning, although obviously a maid was there during the day (according to the new supply of toilet papter). The breakfast is more of a joke, cookies, black or chamomile tea, toast and marmelade - well, to those who like it, it's ok. Coffee at least is available 24/7. We had a room towards the back - where there is a rather loud outside restaurant. But with ear plugs it's perfectly ok. The owner is only available when arriving, afterwards only via phone. If it hadn't been for the miserable cleanliness, the review would have been a lot better!
