All our rooms(triple,twin,single) have private bathroom and toilet.Our guesthouse is located very close to all public transportation(bus and subway) .
We offer reasonable prices for our budget travelers. We offer various accommodation including single rooms, twin rooms and triple rooms.
We are also very conveniently positioned to allow you easy access to all the main tourist places. Costa del Sol Guesthouse will be a great base for your sightseeing in Kyoto.
The guesthouse is also near a supermarket, convenience stores, public baths (3 minutes-walk) and Karaoke (5 minutes-walk).

RSSA few important things to note about this guest house are:
Hot water is only available 8am-10am and 8pm-11pm,
there is only 1 communal computer for internet (that you are supposedly limited to using 15mins at a time) and no wifi so you will HAVE to use their PC when its available
Do not do your laundry here! the dryer takes 100yen for ten mins and takes ages (easily 1hour minimum for heavy load like jeans,thick tshirts,or even a fairly large load of smaller clothes) There are no coin laundrettes near the guest house either - we looked everywhere! only 1 of 3 laundrettes we found could do a washing load but it would take 5 days.
Other than that,our room was big and easy to warm and the bathroom was clean with a big shower/bath. the family were very polite,if a little reserved,and the location was about a 10min walk to nearly everything so you're nice and central!

Costa del Sol Guest House is quite well situated (Gojo Metro), the room was big enough, and the air conditioner worked well. We managed to get wifi access but this did not look like the guest house's AP.
The bathroom didn't give us a clean impression (duck tape on the toilet and all old-yellowed-plastic), the doors are all metalic and makes you feel in a jail and also makes terrible noise. You cannot use the washing machines and the kitchen after 22:00. Moreover the welcome guide lets you think the dryer costs 100 JPY for 50 minutes but in fact you have to pay 100 JPY for every 10 minutes ! this really sucks, you need to be there every 10 minutes to pay and you finally pay way more than anywhere else :/
The receptionist guy we met was nice but there's nobody after 22:00, so the door is still open but anybody can get in.
Also there's a school in front of the guest house, fortunately they didn't make much noise.

English Hotel sign is a lit bit too small for us to look for it. We take a lot of time to find.
