Welcome to our Japanese B&B which is located just a 5 minute walk from Kiyomizudera Temple. You are also within walking distance of the best Japanese shopping area and Gion.
HANAKIYA is 2buildings!
They are located in a few min.walking distance.
Our guests sleep on Futon mats in traditional Japanese rooms.

About 1000yen from Kyoto St. Please show this to taxi driver'Kiyomizudera Kanko Shiei Chusya-jyo Ryokinjyo Mae made onegaishimasu' It means Go to the entrance of big parking near Kimomizudera temple. Opposite the car park, look down steps for Hanakiya sign in the quiet back street.
BY BUS*
From Kyoto station take bus#100 (from D1, D2) or #206 to Gojozaka. English announcements. Fare 220 yen, on exit at front. Bus gets crowded so get near front.
At Gojozaka bus stop, turn right to face flyover(overpass), take first left. (After getting off the bus go back in the dirrecton from where the bus came. Cross the street at the first traffic light and walk up the hill.) Walk up hill about 250m. You will reach a 3way fork in the road. Take the middle one. Walk another 250m, you will see a large car and coach(bus) park on the left. Opposite the car park, look down steps for Hanakiya sign in the quiet back street. ...
