We are opened especially for visitors/backpackers from abroad to Kyoto by a welcoming family. 'ikoi-no-ie' means 'home of relaxation,' so we endeavor to make comfortable rooms with cozy Japanese style for all our guests. If you would like to see more photos, check 'ikoi yuu sato' on facebook.

Reception hour is 8:00-22:00. (We can keep luggage during this time)

Please check-in once before 22:00.

(1) KIMONO Dressing:

Try on antique kimono and take photos!!

(2) TEA Ceremony:

Taste/make Japanese green tea in classical manner.

- Easy Access to the most of sightseeing spots by bus, subway and train from Kyoto Station.

- Some of bus stops and subway station nearby.

★ Additional room description

- THE ROOM NOT WRITTEN 'STANDARD' IS SMALL ROOM for the designated number of people

-There is nearly no space when you spread out futons

-We can keep big luggage at reception if you need

(You can put it into a closet if that room has one)

★CHILD & INFANT FARE

- 0-5 years old: 500 yen/night

- 6-12 years old: 1000 yen/night

(without own futon; sharing a futon with a parent.)

★If you book mixed Dorm, your room is going to be in Annex of Ikoi-No-Ie.

There is no cancellation charge as long as you let us know 6 days before the date of your stay.
Below is our cancellation policy:

・No show-200% of the room charge
 On the day-100%
 1 day before-80%
 2 days before-50%
3 days before-40%
4 days before-30%
5 days before-20%

※ Note
- Cancellation charge is applied to each day of your stay.
e.g.(in case you cancel 26/4, 27/4 on 25/4,
cancellation charge is a total of 80% of 26/4 and 50% of 27/4. )

- Check-in after 0:00 am is not acceptable. (100% of room rate will be charged)

We don't accept check-in after 0:00. (100% of room charge will be charged)

nice place to stay in Kyoto. not far away from station make it easy to move around. very friendly well english speaking staff and rooms are just perfect. 100% recommend!
