K's House Mt.Fuji (open in March 2007) is our 4th hostel in the K's House Chain .
Located in Kawaguchiko which is a very good base for Mt Fuji.
13min walk from Kawaguchiko station (Free pick up service is available 8:30 to 19:30).
The hostel is only a bus ride away from Mt.Fuji's 5th station for all you summer climbers
and Fujikyu-Highland which is one of the most popular amusement parks in Japan.

K's House Mt Fuji is fully renovated modern building with Japanese style private rooms and western style dormitory beds .
We have individual showers with hot water 24 hours a day. We also offer a fully equiped guest kitchen ,TV room with free DVD movies, darts and board games,
spacious cozy lounge, internet access, laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer), Japanese style tatami lounge.
Our staff speak English and will help you with any travel information you need.
Note : All the private rooms we have are Japanese style rooms with tatami matt.
-Some 6-bed dormitory rooms have only 5 beds or 4 beds! (prices are the same)

Just one night, just awesome. Chihiro came to pick us up as we got out of the bus, and we also got a free ride to get back to the station!
Super huge living room & kitchen, super clean bathroom, very nice dorms, and helpfull & nice staff ! A place to be if you want to visit the 5 lakes & the Mt Fuji!

A very clean and modern hostel not too far a walk from the station if you get there after the pick-up/drop off time.
The cleanest hostel showers ive seen in a while and fast internet.
Friendly English speaking staff and a highly stocked kitchen in terms of cooking supplies.
Lots of information also.

We stayed here for three nights. It has been the best hostel we have been in so far in Japan. It is extremely clean and they have a very helpful and good english speaking staff. The free pick up from Kawaguchi-ko station is also very helpful. It saves you a ten minute walk with your backpack. Overall very good hostel, would recommend it to anyone!

Thank you for making a reservation at K's House Mt.Fuji!
Check in time 15:00pm-20:00pm
Reception open 8:00am-20:00pm
Free pick up service is available between 8:00-19:30.
You can drop off your luggage anytime after 8:00am.
Please let us know if you plan to check in after 20:00.
- If you need to cancel your booking or change the dates, please email us (fuji@kshouse.jp) by 2 days before your scheduled arrival.
We require 48 hours cancellation notice prior to your scheduled arrival, otherwise we will charge you cancellation fee as below.
* 30% of your first night will be charged if you do not notify us about your cancellation by 20:00pm 2days before from your scheduled arrival.
* 50% of your first night will be charged if you do not notify us about your cancellation by 20:00pm on the day before from your scheduled arrival.
* 100% of your first night will be charged if you do not notify us about your cancellation before 11:00am on the day or No Show on your scheduled arrival.
* If you do not show up without noticing us,
and if you have reserved more than two nights,
the remaining nights will be canceled.
-All the private rooms we have are Japanese style rooms with tatami matt and futon mattress(no bed).
-Some 6-bed dormitory rooms have only 5 beds or 4 beds! (prices are the same)
-We do not accept large group (> 9 people) bookings even if the bookings come from different persons with the intention to form a group in the hostel. We have the right to cancel large group bookings.
- Any deposit paid for large group bookings cannot be claimed back to the host.

Directions
From Tokyo to Kawaguchiko
By bus
Take a Keio bus for Kawaguchiko sta from JR Shinjuku sta west exit(on the other side of Keio dept)
Tavel hours - 1hour50min , Costs 1700yen (most reccommended for everybody)
By train
1 Take a JR Ltd express 'Super Azusa' or 'Kaiji' , get off at Otsuki sta.
2 Change train to Fuji-kyukou 'Fujisan express' to Kawaguchiko sta.
Travel hours - 2hours45min , Costs 4100yen
(JR pass is not accepted for Fuji-kyukou)
