Tagaoogi, Mount Fuji, Japan

Tagaogi is a modern style Japanese-style inn offering superb views of Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka.

We have both Japanese-style and Western-style guest rooms. The Japanese-style guest rooms all face Mount Fuji, while the Western-style and Combination-style rooms offer a view of Lake Yamanaka. All rooms have bathroom and toilet.

We offer a Kaiseki Cuisine, Japanese course, at our traditional Japanese Restaurant 'Miyabi'.

Facilities include a restaurant, baths, banquet room, souvenir shop, tea lounge, relaxation room(massage chairs) and a ping pong room.

Bath is open 24hours. Both men's and women's bath offer a main bath, outdoor bath and sauna.

Check-in: from 3PM

Check-out: until 10AM

Luggage may be left at the front desk before check-in and after check-out.

-There is no curfew, however the front desk is shut at 9:00PM.

In cases where dinner is served, we ask you to check-in before 6:00PM.

When dinner is not included in your stay plan we ask you to check-in before 9:00PM.

No shuttle service is available.

From the Kanto Area (Great Tokyo)

Shinjuku - (90 minutes on JR Chuo Line) - Otsuki

Otsuki - (50 minutes on Fujikyuko Line) - Fuji Yoshida

Fuji Yoshida - (20 minutes by bus) - Yamanakakyoku Iriguchi

From the Kansai Area (Osaka & Kyoto)

Nagoya - (90 minutes by Bullet Train) - Mishima

Mishima - (90 minutes by bus) - Yamanakako

From Kawaguchiko and Fuji Yoshida

Use buses heading for Mishima, Yamanako or Hirano.

Getting to Mt. Fuji from our ryokan

Take a bus in front of our ryokan to Kawaguchiko Station. (30 minutes)

Then take another bus to Mt.Fuji 5th Station (50 minutes)
