This is a Trusted Review. Why?

The owners were very helpful and informative. On our day of departure they kindly took us to the bus station. The accommodation itself was outside of the centre of Matsumoto but was still within walking distance (30 - 35 mins) or there were bicycles available to use. We took advantage of having a Japanese style breakfast which was beautifully presented and explained.

Another nice touch was the welcome sign when we arrived - would definitely recommend as a good place to stay to explore this lovely area.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Quite a nice place, excellent value and very helpfull staff. They don't speak much of english, but if you can manage a little japanese, you won't have any problems even if you wish to know something other than related to your stay at the ryokan.
