Hostelling International Bolivia presents HI-Hostel Versalles which is within walking distance from the bus terminal and Cochabamba's city centre. This active town in a highland valley (2'500 m) is right in the middle of Bolivia and enjoys an eternal spring climate.

Thanks to its nice little garden and sun-terrace all rooms are warm plus we have hot water available 24 hours a day. We also have international phone service, common breakfast room and TV room. The colonial centre has a Spanish based foundation but in the region there is a lot of much older history like the INCA-fortress – pre-Inca holy places, even dinosaurs footprints in ToraTora can be seen. In contrast to the Inca history it is well worth paying a visit to the palace of the famous tin Baron Simon I Patiño; Palacio de Potales built between 1915- 1925.

Not far away is 'La Cancha' – the biggest daily market in halls and on the street – well stocked, good prices and mostly crowded.
