We will give you a warm reception and stay at our friendly Minsyuku (family-run inn) Rindou-no-ie. Our guest rooms are Japanese-style, with Tatami mat floors, Futon-bedding. We are very conveniently located in Nikko, within 15 minutes walking distance of the Tobu-Nikko Station, and within easy access to the major tourist sites (for example, Toshogu-Shrine for the Tokugawa Shogunate, Futarasan-Shrine, and Rinnouji-Temple).
You will be impressed with the old temples, shrines and the nature.
All rooms are Japanese Style Room with tatami matt.
Breakfast: 700 yen (order when confirmed reservation)
Dinner: 1800 yen -- Japanese style

15 minutes on foot.
== From JR Nikko Station ==
20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by taxi.
If you come on foot, walk toward Kirifuri from
JR or Tobu Nikko Station and cross the big river 'Daiya-gawa'.
Find a sign of Rindo-no-ie on your left side. Take left at the sign and walk straight until you see a creek. The inn is located before the small river on your right side.

The stay at Rindou-No-Ie was fantastatic. The place is very clean and the bedrooms are not so small. The owners are just so sympathetic. They' ve given me a warm welcome in freezing Nikko!

I've been in this Riokan in December 9th, we appreciate the kindness of the owner, we prepared a hot bath at night, and I think it was the best of my life, the bath was huge!, I am very tall and could be fully seated with hot water to the neck!
When we arrived in Nikko, call the owner and he came to pick up the season, falling to the central station is a short walk to catch buses into the area of the temples, mountains, and Yumoto onsen Fegon Falls, but I recommend to the temples is walking and looking at the houses, streets, shops, etc ... very entertaining.
The room is warm and clean, and sleep on the floor is a great experience.

What words comes first to my mind thinking about my stay there: Genuine Japanese hospitality when it is best. The host couple will do anything to make your stay with them more pleasant. Yes the place is a bit out of town but they will offer to drive you more or less anywhere. They took me to and from the train station. to and from dinner and offered to take me up to the tourist sights also but declined. It is very seldom in your life you will meet people like this, I have a deep deep respect for them and the place they run and whenever I am in Nikko again I am 100% sure of where I am going to stay and this time I will make sure to book the dinner two days in advance (which you must or they will decline). Thank you both for the warm hospitality and good talk we had, I will never forget my stay with you.

The service of the inn owners is second to none. They are genuine in their concern about your happiness and health while you are staying at Rindo-no-ie, and will do everything in their capacity to help you while you are staying with them in Nikko.
The dinner and breakfast is highly recommended. You will not find any better during your stay in Nikko! Fork out the little extra - you won't regret it.
The bedrooms, bathrooms, cleanliness - the entire package is impeccable.
Rindo-no-ie is truly unremarkable, I would recommend anybody to stay there whilst in Nikko. 10/10

The service is outstanding. The couple who run thins place are amazingly nice and helpful. They do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The place is very clean and and has everything you need.
The location is about 10 min. walk from the station but if you call them they pick you up from the station. On my way back, they brought my bag to the the station as well (I left it in the hotel and went sight seeing).
I wish I stayed longer.

This is the best hostel of my 15 days travelling in Japan. warm like staying home. Anyway, the location is a little bit far away from railway station,but you can call to the hostel to pick you up there. Very impressive. Strongly reccomended!!!
