Aside from the fact that it was not as centrally located as I would have liked, the place was very clean, efficient, well-serviced in terms of amenities and facilities and overall I would not hesitate to recommend Backpacker's Hostel Ino's Place to others who would like a clean, safe and value for money accomodations in Sapporo.

Our hostel was opened in December 2001 and is a unique, modern and high level backpackers hostel in Sapporo. Its friendly hospitality and homelike atmosphere with helpful English speaking staff make it a great place to stay.
Our hostel is excellent to be relaxed after sightseeing and a long trip. The location is only 4 stops by subway to the centre of the city 'Odori Sta'. Also we can help you if your desire is to visit many of Hokkaido's wonderful natural sights.
Clean & modern facilities await you. These include everything you would expect. And our rooms are all in Western style. We have dormitories and private and family rooms also.
Helping travellers and making their stay as easy and comfortable as possible is our duty, and we take great pride in our work. Many returning guests give us a great feeling that we are doing something right.

Directions
Take the Tozai subway line toward Shin-Sapporo and get off at Shiroishi station.
Please use EXIT 1. At the top of the stairs, go straight along Nango Ave. St. towards 'ENEOS G.S' (Odori Park direction).
Please turn right at the 4th signal from Shiroishi station.(There is a Karaoke shop before the signal.)
It takes about 6 minutes on foot from Shiroishi station.
