This spot is great for traveling as it is near the subway station. There are maps and information available as well.
The service is quite poor due to unorganized booking. When we showed up, the lady told us that we had no such reservation. After checking our printed confirmation, she gave us the keys -- but it was on the wrong floor. So an hour or so later, she relocated us to a different floor.
At night can be really noisy when they check in late guests.

TRY OUR WOODEN CAPUSLE BEDS!!!
We opened on Aug 1st 2007. Have you ever slept in the 'Capusle' beds at any other hostels? We are the first in the world. When you closed the curtain, you can keep your privacy and have a good sleep. Beds are pretty spacious, 210cm and 150cm. Don't worry, it's a Gaijin size!!
LOCATION!!
We are located in cool 'Shinjuku' area, the WEST of Tokyo. You can take any JR trains or metro from Shinjuku station. It's easy to go sightseeing, shopping, clubs or bars. Even if you missed the last train, you could walk back to us in 20 mins from 'Shinjuku'.
'Harajuku', 'Shibuya', 'Roppongi' are waiting for you guys!! And 'Nichome' (the cool 'Rainbow' town) is 15 mins from here by foot.
Peaceful residential neighborhood. Many restaurants, cafes, Japanese sweet shops, supermarkets, International ATM, banks, drug stores, hospitals, University.....
We are just 1 min from the closest metro station 'Akebonobashi' by Toei ShinjukuLine,' S03' in the tokyo metro map. Don't worry about your heavy stuff. We are pretty closed to the sation!!

At night can be really noisy when they check in late guests. There is no sound barrier, so talking and opening locker sound can be quite loud.
Paying almost $50 a night for a bed is kind of steep. It was a fun experience but too much for my pocket. =)
Next time, I'd rather pay for an apartment for a month for $500 bucks instead.

Location-wise the Ace Inn was great, being only 2 seconds down the road from the train and 2 stops from Shinjuku. The beds were a little bit uncomfortable but the rooms were quiet and clean, with lockers and bag racks available. Good value

Im writing this review in the lobby of Aceinn, and i can only recommend this place to everyone visiting Tokyo! I was a bit worried about the curfew at first(2 am to 4.30 am the hostel closes the front door) but it really doesnt matter since the subway is closed between 1 am and 5 am! So either you party hard and take the first train home or you take it easy and take last train home.
The location is relly sweet! From shinjuku you take the Toei-shinjuku subwayline(green ring with an "S" in it), the first station is Shinjuku(S01), the second is shinjuku-sanchome(S02) and the third station is Akebonobashi! To walk from downtown Shinjuku to Akebonobashi takes about 30 minutes and is really easy.
The hostel staff speaks really good english and can help you with everything, there are four computers in the lobby that are free to use, eight showers in the basement(100 yen is 10 minutes of showering), four washingmachines and you can by detergerent in the reception. On the ninth floor is a commonroom, i havnt been up there alot but i think that it is a good place to meet other who are travelling.

Directions
The nearest station is 'Akebono-bashi' by Toei Shinjuku line. Take A3 exit, and turn left. Go straight under the bridge. You'll see us in 30 seconds.
In case you take a taxi, just say 'Akebonobashi, on the Yasukuni Street' to a driver.
