The rooms are tiny, but clean and VERY safe. the staff speaks fluent English and are very helpful. The location is perfect. Plenty of hot water. If you're not planning to do much in your room besides sleep and shower, this is all you need. Make sure to try the bento from the gourmet grocery store around the corner - they're cheap and delicious! You can also use your PASMO at the am/pm convenience store right next to the hostel. I would 100% stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Sakura Hostel Hatagaya is a new branch of Sakura Hotel, that has been providing cheap and comfortable accommodation in Tokyo, since 1992. Long been a crossroad for travelers for both business and tourism purposes, it has also been highly recommended by the Lonely Planet Guidebooks.
Located west of Shinjuku, the new Sakura Hostel Hatagaya gives you a relaxing and heartwarming Tokyo experience, just like our classic Sakura Hotel Jimbocho.
There are: Single rooms, Double rooms, Twin rooms, Triple rooms, with free breakfast including tax.
Check-in 3PM to midnight / Check-out 10AM
Please give us a call if you check-in after 22:00
to hold your reservation. Otherwise, we will cancel your reservation.
