The sstaff were very helpful and the hotel is easy to find and in a great place to walk up to Amman's citadel. Even though it was very cold in January the staff were keen to keep us all warm! Thankyou to all.

Cheap, excellent location, modest room, the bathroom is a disaster. Staff pleasant, but very poor English and is very irresponsible (for five days, they failed to fix the light in the bathroom). Breakfast drab but decent!

very personal staff. difficult to find if you don't know where it is but they will pick you up at the airport for a reasonable fee. walking distance to the roman theater. staff will arrange private cars for day tours to ajloun, jerash and many other places. breakfast is included (hard boiled eggs, pita, tomato, cucumber, and bananas). I was there over Eid in September and one night they bought cakes for everyone and played live music. it was very festive
Very friendly staff (they even made me something to eat at 3am when I woke up feeling hungry).

Good Hotel for the money you pay. Very nice people, very helpful. If I return to Amman i will stay there again. Free Internet in the room just very handy. Hussam and Abu Hamza very very kind and polite.
Very good staff BUT I kept saying
no shower. Kept saying it would be
fixed and for 3 days never was.Cheap hotel but good breakfast.
If you can afford it, go to West Ammam places.

It was a great stay at Abbasi Palace Hotel! No two word about it. It was more like a Hostel to me. The staff go well beyond to help you out, and they were really friendly people. If you're not looking for anything luxury, and looking for a place just to return to bed after a tiring day of traveling, this place would be ideal for you. Located in downtown Amman, you have access to lots of things around. You get the best value for money. Wireless internet in the lobby was free for all guests and they also provide free breakfast Arabic style, which was good! Highly recommended hotel, young travelers would get the best out of it! Happy traveling in Jordan!

Abbasi is a great guest house for budget travellers in Amman. First and foremost, the staff there were simply brilliant. Not only were they most helpful and accommodating hosts but their warmth and quirky characters made it a memorable stay. After travelling around Jordan, it was nice to return "home" at Abbasi.
The rooms are basic but clean. Excellent value for money for budget travellers and the location is good - right in the middle of downtown. Beware downtown is down-town so be prepared to climb many steps to climb up Amman where of course you have great places like Rainbow street.

All in all it is what we wanted, something stripped of convention, where you can meet the real people of Jordan, in the heart of the old city. We were a few minute's walking distance from the Roman Amphitheatre and a short taxi drive from the Temple of Hercules.
The room was neat, I would prefer bedside lamps, and there was at times no hot water, however I witnessed management having a discussion with the technicians, so I assume they were to blame.
The hotel has a lot of potential, and I have discussed it with the owner, which has just taken over the hotel, and owning a guest house I understand exactly what she is going through.
The staff was very friendly throughout out stay. I will come back.

This is a low-budget hotel in downtown Amman, in an area I found crowded and dirty. The room was very basic, quite small, no bedside light, no door to our ensuite and a big gap in the wall which didn't encourage us to use the shower. However, the hotel owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you are on a budget and don't expect too high standards, then this could be considered value for money as breakfast is included. You get what you pay for so avoid if you prefer, and can afford, something more upmarket.
