the hotel is very very dirty. It's only for an emergency. The sheets were so dirty that we sleep in our sleeping bags. We were the one & only costumers in the hotel, I think. The breakfast was poor and everything seemed dirty. One night and no more.

The New Park Hotel is one of the biggest and best equipped hotels in downtown Amman area. in the only 2 star hotel in old Down town city of Amman

There are 35 rooms on 3 floors, with all facilities of satellite TV, mini bar, direct telephones, and private bathes, hot water 24 hours.wifi adsl Internet connection is also available free of charge for our guests,

The hotel has a nice restaurant for more than 50 people at a time.

In total I stayed at the New Park Hotel for six weeks and I have to conclude that my experience of it was more than satisfactory. In my opinion the two most essential facets of any hotel are position and service and with regards to both of these issues I was very happy. The hotel is within a very short walk of the vibrant street life of the down town area with all of its cafes, restaurants, archaeological sites and shops, in addition to it being conveniently situated for travel by taxi to other parts of the city. The owner of the hotel and his staff are among the nicest and most welcoming of any that I have experienced whilst travelling and this includes some hotels whose nightly rate dwarfs that of the New Park. The management are also very well connected and can therefore organise pretty much whatever may be required in terms of travel, documentation, advice and the like. During my time in the hotel I spent many an evening chating to the owner and his staff whilst being supplied with copious amounts of tea and coffee and would therefore, in conclusion, have no difficulty in recommending the New Park Hotel to any other traveller thinking of visiting the region.

Mr. Fayez Al Kayyali- the manager, Mr. Hani and staff were very friendly. The hotel is a grand old structure but not maintained in recent times. The location is very good. Breakfast is okay. Recommend to visit for sure. Will come back again.
